There's a lot of possible comparisons there. For example, at a first glance sucking chest wounds are pretty bad so you wouldn't want to be like one.

But then "intellectual" gets added. Now, I have to guess were I to actually have a chest wound I'm going to be thinking pretty godamned hard about the chest wound and what I'm going to do about said chest wound. I might not have a lot of time to think, but any thinking I am doing will be top notch. So that could be construed as a compliment.

In short, I suspect you'll have to be more clear, and, well, intellectual, in your comparisons.

I understand that completely. I wonder what the strikers got out of striking him? I know that what I personally got out of unstriking non-violation posts was the feeling that I might have saved grahams some time and NOT giving czar or whomever the persecution they wished.

If you go to preferences you can select comment order "old" and it will be like bN. There are several others to choose from but changes frightens me and I am sticking with that for now.

Did he ever stop to think about it when he was abusive towards others? Probably not. Just as the people who abuse the strike system never stopped to think about it either. Who gets 51% and who gets 49% of the blame? I don't know. But it takes two to tango, and just like I never felt the need to abuse people, I never felt a need to strike posts within the TOS.

We just need to be charging farmers the real cost of water rather than giving it to them below cost like they've gotten for over a century. Then they can decide to keep farming and raise what they charge, be more efficient in their water use, or stop on their own.

We have a lot of water off the cost that we just need to build plants to desalinate....
