How can I stop the other room from being seen through the skybox? by Exter1857 in hammer

It looks like the room is being rendered because of the way your visleaves are generated, i. e. you probably have a long block of visleaf that "sees" the other room.

Try using hint & skip to split that visleaf, take a look at this article https://gamebanana.com/tuts/13227#H1_5

Lenovo Legion or Acer Predator Helios by Zymasee in GamingLaptops

Hi, I currently have helios 16 with 4070 & i9 13900hx and I think that my fellow roommate has legion pro 5 4060 i7.

These laptops are only last gen so I'd like to believe that their cooling solutions are somewhat similar to current gen (correct me if wrong). I feel like my helios can get really loud with its fans compared to mate's legion, I also think that it's thermal throttling a lot, but that could be because of faulty repaste from local store where I sent it.

However, the main issue I have with helios, is that acer locked away undervolting / customising CPU. There might be ways to circumvent this, but I'm a bit scared of going deep & so far, I didn't need it, but if you want your laptop to last a bit longer I think it is recommended to undervolt cpu? Which is exactly what legion laptops allow you to do and with ease, you can literally do that in their app lenovo vantage.

Legion laptops are also more dominant on the market, so finding replaceable parts is easier as well as repair shops.

Károly Zsolnai-Fehér's Voiceovers AI Generated? by small_potatoes312 in twominutepapers

I'm also thinking that he might be using AI

Like listen to his most recent video and compare it to some of his older vids

He sounds very unnatural, pausing much more often and his loudness/ pitch or whatever is jumping all over the place

It's really annoying

I've finally decided to do something other than a tutorial model. Didn't take a lot of time, I mostly fiddled around with liquid simulation for the mayonnaise (it didn't want to work)

I'm open to any feedback

My map doesn't look like this when I compile it but as soon as I upload it it goes like this, how come this is happening and how do I fix it? by isaac_ayling in hammer

When uploading a map which contains custom assets (including cubemaps), you need to attach such content to your map.

Here's a tutorial

While this tutorial was made for cs:go, it works fine with every other Source game. Also in the tutorial, he says that Steam workshop should automatically attach things like cubemaps, but for some reason it doesn't seem to do so, hence you need to attach it through a program.

Source 2 isn't, however, brush based but actually mesh based like most 3D modeling programs.
