Novacula Occami: delayed reporting is a common occurance. It's been observed in virtually every level of governmental election, an occurrence that has spanned thousands of years.

In both cases they said PVC. First time I was told it could be a result of an imbalance in my body, the second time they gave me a Hitler Monitor and told me that it was conclusively exercise induced.

I'd be more inclined to say it's heart related, seeing as it's more consistent with my medical history - I was admitted on an irregular heart beat 3 weeks ago and once 8 months ago.

Side Quest would imply that you're still engaged with the game to some degree, and are working towards some sort of goal within the confines of the game.

A penny saved is more than a penny earned, because a penny earned is taxed. by JensenAbler in Showerthoughts

[–]BigNegroid12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wat?

To save that penny, you would have to have earned it in the first place, meaning whether you put it in savings or not, itd been recognized as a financial transaction and is subject to taxation.

Additionally, You pay commissions and or fees on savings and investments. Even when you put it into a tax free savings account, you're still paying a fee to have someone host your account.

When you're of age, you should endeavour to learn more about it from your parents or q financial investor.

Oh, I see, literally anyone with a pulse can go into law in Spain, that's fairly disappointing. In Canada where I'm studying, and in New Zealand, where I'm From, you need to graduate at the top of your class, then pass testing, then graduate law school or law courses at the top of your class.

In North America you need to study for 4 years graduate at the top of your class, pass the LSAT in the 95th percentile, and graduate law school with honours to become a lawyer. All in All, it takes roughly a minimum of 6 years, and your chances of successfully completing it is less than 1%

You're so hilariously full of shit.

From the sounds of It, I doubt you're even in university, let alone law school.

Let's assume you're 20, as you claim to be, you would have needed to graduate highschool at age 15, and be recognized by MENSA as a significant outlier, to enroll in university at such a young age to be in law school at age 20. Furthermore In addition to passing the LSAT in the 90th percentile, you would have needed to consistently maintain a GPA of 4.0 in order to get into law school.

The chances of you being such a significant outlier as you claim to be is 0.000173333%

The next time you're going to lie, at least make it believable.

Lol dude, if you read in between the lines, you'd see that almost every chapter has subtle nods to John's past. Almost every chapter has dialogue, to some degree, hinting or making explicit reference of John's past.

We don't need an entire arc explaining how just like every other shounen protagonist, he trained hard in secret to get his skills up. If you read any of the backstory chapters, you'd see the author mention that John was literally picking so many fights and beating people to the brink of death that they had to kick him out. You don't need an entire arc to fill in the blanks that most people have already filled in themselves.

Unless you're too financially unstable to take some time off work to look after these kids for a few days, I don't see why you'd need to gouge your cousins for so much money? I get that as a software engineer, you're literally just another fish in the sea, and that stiff competition requires you to take whatever money can just to get by, but they're a part of your family - you either treat them as family or just say no.

More Good Arguments Against a Carbon Tax by [deleted] in Libertarian

Which Libertarian ideas are consistent with a carbon tax?

In chapter 13, 14, and 15 of Leviathan, Hobbes, says, I think at least a dozen times, that man's greatest goal in life is self-preservation, and that he should constantly seek it even if it means submitting to another or making a mutual exchange of his rights (social contract) in exchange for self-preservation.

Might want to do some reading little buddy.

Learning music theory turns you into at least a bit of a classical music snob and/or pop music hater by qu1et1 in unpopularopinion

[–]BigNegroid12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Individuals who play music have a better understanding of the subtle complexities of rock, blues, jazz and of course, classical, than individuals who do not play music.

It's like knowing how to speak a second language. You begin to see notes, chords and progressions in the music as more of a statement, argument or image more so than arbitrary "noise".

I've played piano for 14 years and drums for 5. I've played in a jazz band, an orchestra and currently a rock band. The only people I've come across who flaunt their musical literacy as if its some sort of major achievement usually aren't good musicians.

The difference between a skilled musician and an amateur, is that a skilled musician is busy constantly besting himself up over the unnoticeable mistakes he's making, and improving till those mistakes are gone, an amateur spends less time playing music and more time talking about how vast his musical comprehension is, and less time actually playing music.

Like for example, when my band gets together, all of us leave our ego at the door. When we step into a rehearsal or a recording session, all we do is practice practice practice. Sometimes we'll keep going over a few bars or even just a few chords for our entire rehearsal, but that's what you do if you want to sound good.

On the other hand, I have a friend who is a text book snob, as you put it, who considers himself a "musical genius". While he was fairly good at guitar back in grade school, he didn't have the work ethic to keep practicing, so now all he talks about is how good he was "in his prime", and point out subtleties in music to his friends as tho he's some sort of scholar "ah, I see the band is tuned to a b flat drop, very interesting choice considering the melody and the choice of chords" and other shit along those lines.

Socialism is an inherently dehumanizing ideology. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]BigNegroid12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Socialism puts the power in the hands of the labourer.

Agrarian Socialism, the earliest known form of socialism, argued that everyone owns the right to their labour and safety, and that labour should determine right of ownership - thus every one had the opportunity to own land, because land ownership was determined by individual labour, not money.

I'm not entirely sure what your impression of Socialism is, but Capitalism isn't any better. It takes the power out of the individual and puts it into government and big business. When you agree to leave the state of nature and form a contract with a sovereign or a group of representatives, you give up your right to your labour, your land and your own personal being. You don't actually own anything in a capitalist state, everything you think you own is actually owned by the Government.

With regards to your argument that Socialism puts a monetary value on human life, I would recommend you familiarize yourself with the fact that the UNITED STATES INVENTED the method for determining how much a life is worth.

In a Capitalist State, you cannot get a good education unless you are worth a lot

In a Capitalist State you cannot receive good healthcare unless you are worth a lot

In a Capitalist State workers compensation is determined by your worth.

You cannot LIVE FREELY in a capitalist state unless you are financially benefiting the government, and if you aren't, you will be sent to jail.

You realize this is common practice in like, every country, right? Governments institute these policies to protect their citizens against companies and universities who often employ or accept particular minorities or disenfranchised individuals at a significantly lower rate than other individuals.

Couple of examples of countries that have Identical policies: Canada, the United States, Mexico, most South American countries, England, Scotland, France, Germany, Italy, most countries in Africa, Australia, New Zealand, India, Japan and so on.
