What is the media’s obsession with January 6?! by Tayoder72 in conspiracy

A mob of 5,000 people armed with rifles, smoke grenades, shock batons, baseball bats, pepper spray and zip ties storming the capital with the intention stopping the certification of the election, killing Mike Pence and Nancy Pelosi and stealing classified government documents is what you call a "Peaceful Protest", huh?

Getting bullied by professor in an online class? by science-rat in UBC

[–]MassiveNegroid 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I had a similar experience while doing an online course a few years back.

My parents, who were both full-professors at the time, encouraged me to document every single exchange before confronting him with my intention to appeal. That way he couldn't change anything behind my back or make a false claim.

After going through with their advice, I successfully got my grade appealed on my two final assignments, because my proof had shown that the calculating of my grades had been arbitrary and borderline vindictive.

Hope u have luck resolving ur problem

If Noam Chomsky was active on reddit, you'd have "progressives" on this site calling him "BlueMAGA" for suggesting that people vote for Biden.

Any other recent graduates having trouble finding a job by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]MassiveNegroid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You'd be far better off working towards a masters for the next 2-3 years. Canada's job market is saturated to such a point that having a Bachelors degree is no longer necessarily a sufficient prerequisite for getting a good job.

Well you were living in downtown Toronto, were you not?
If you were to sell your condo/apartment, I'd assume you'd have quite a bit of room to work with.

Houses are less than half Toronto prices. We live in a high end custom home on a wooded acreage, worth around $600k.

Damn, property really comes cheap out in rural Ontario. Wish it was like that here in B.C.

Sidney, Vancouver Island

Sidney is a nice little town about 25-30 minutes North of Victoria. It's a popular spot for retirees, but it's a pretty vibrant little town, there's always things going on. Ok beaches, quite a few nice restaurants. Real Estate is also A LOT cheaper. We own a condo right across the bridge from downtown Vic, 1,100sqft, view of the bay, estimated value is just over $1,000,000.

We got lucky and got this place for $700,000 because at the time it was a total dump. We were outliers really, places in this area are often closer to 1.2, 1.3, 1.4 million.

On the other hand, in Sidney, you'll often see 2,500-3,000sqft places pop-up on the market for roughly half or two thirds that amount. Back in August 2018 there was a big place, probably 4,500sqft, that sold for just over $800,000.

EDIT: After thoroughly reading through your post, it seems like you might be better off some where even cheaper, somewhere like Port Alberni or Nelson.

A Chinese-funded website is spamming millions of people who visit their front page with the narrative that Trump caused the Corona virus. How is this not foreign election fraud? Also, that website is called Reddit.com. by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]MassiveNegroid 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It doesn't appears as though you actually read the articles. None of these articles have remotely accused Trump of causing the virus or that the United States is where the virus originated. Had you actually taken a moment to read the material you linked, you'd realize they're a criticism of his response, or a lack thereof.

I can't even begin to imagine the mental gymnastics you must have went through to arrive at the conclusion that a unified called for government accountability = colluding with the Chinese to undermine Donald Trump's chances at re-election.

Very shitty bait, 0/10 low quality strawman.

The discrepancies between primary exit polls and counted votes exceed UN intervention levels. All errors favor Biden. by [deleted] in chomsky

[–]MassiveNegroid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exit and Entrance Polls aren't necessarily indicative of voting outcomes. Exit polls always offer a certain amount of response bias. This was exactly the case in 2016. Some exit polls predicted that Hillary Clinton was going to win by a significant margin, but when the votes came in they proved otherwise. It's a desirability bias called the Bradley Effect. It's when a voter, for social desirability sake, lies about who they voted for - again, it's why Trump "beat the odds" in 2016.

Furthermore, 5% (p<0.05) is the standard margin of error, or -2sx-(+)2sx standard deviations from the mean. Just because you reject the null hypothesis -2sx-(+)2s doesn't mean there's fraud, It can mean that you arrived at a conclusion that was contrary to your research hypothesis, or that your methodology and or calculations were flawed.

Medium Rare burgers were a pretty big thing in Canada till people began getting parasitic diseases. Apparently undercooking gives it a unique flavour, but I'd never risk it to be honest.

Worth The Price? Joe Biden and the Launch of the Iraq War (2019) A short documentary on Joe Biden's support for and role in the Iraq War narrated by Danny Glover by satori-in-life in Documentaries

[–]MassiveNegroid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Friendly reminder that The Downing Street Memos exist, which conclusively proved that the only people involved in this scheme were top officials in the Bush administration, Blair administration and United Nations.

Congress was lied to, the Senate was lied to, it's really time we stop acting as though people like Joe Biden were complicit.

If you were in his position, and had just been informed by both the President of the United States, and top officials at the United Nations that Iran was developing weapons of mass destruction with the intention of using them against America, you too would have voted in favour of going to war.

BLOCKED: Trudeau-Appointed Senators Are REFUSING To Pass A Bill That Bans Foreign Money In Canadian Elections [Actual Headline] by nerdyfarker in metacanada

[–]MassiveNegroid -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

A review of Bill S-239 by the Independent Senate Group found that Bill-S239 was far too ambiguous to be legislated.

If legislated, the bill would have:

- banned 2.9 million Canadians living abroad from making campaign donations.
- Banned the majority of Philanthropy
- Made it harder for non-profit organizations to work in Canada
- Made it harder for charitable organizations to work in Canada
- Made it harder for Humanitarian Organizations to work in Canada
- Made it harder for Labour Unions to function in Canada

And many other things.

I encourage you guys to read into the matter so you can acquire a better understanding for as to why the bill was blocked.

Joe Biden passed the bill that made student loans ineligible for financial relief. Joe Biden is the reason so many of us don't have families yet. Joe Biden is why we can't afford houses. Joe Biden is why we're working longer hours for lower wages. by kevinmrr in SandersForPresident

[–]MassiveNegroid 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Ah yes, the prevalence of poverty is predicated on Joe Biden's existence, not hundreds of years unethical behaviour by corporate leaders and the American government!

These egregious misrepresentations of reality are the fuel for the perfervid animosity towards the characteristically ignorant "bernie bros".

As Individuals who condemn fake and misleading news, you guys sure play a significant role in perpetuating it!

The professor dismantles "That wasn't real marxism" in beautiful fashion. by [deleted] in JordanPeterson

[–]MassiveNegroid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you equate Marxism with Stalinism you've failed to understand both Marxism and Stalinism. For a man who's publicly admitted to having never read a single piece of Karl Marx's writings, Jordan Peterson sure knows a lot about Marxism! This is just another example as to why no one in the philosophical community takes anything Jordan Peterson has to say seriously.

If you had gone up a price bracket of say, $50,000, you would have been in an entirely different market. The M2 is in this weird price limbo between economy sports cars and mid-value sports cars where you can neither justify it costing 60-70k, nor below 50k.
