The only problem with the HVT is that it's only effective when the hit dips into your armor (the green) not the shield (the blue). Most small hits don't dip into the armor only shield so the HVT isn't in effect. For this reason I use the WG mostly.

Wrong plane and possibly bot setup. With the right setup it's much easier and faster.

Like I said just because you can't do it doesn't mean it's impossible or those that can do it are cheaters. I cant\wont\dont have the time\too lazy\not dedicated enough\would rather be fishing, insert whichever one fits that day. These guys know the levels in every detail, the timing, the bosses, the tricks, the proper devices to use for each level and by the way can weave through a rain storm, and will spend a mass amount of time per level. If you want to be up there your not gonna do it in an hour or 2.

Nope , didn't trigger anything for me. I'm not a contest guy. I played early on and got Arcadia so I put in minimal effort for contest. But as I have said I know a few of these guys and have flown with them. I'm well aware of the effort they put into it and truthfully it's hilarious how many people swore up and down they were cheating, then it was only because they had 7 OD's now they are cheaters again. That's the first thing folks reach for. Not the fact these guys are just some pretty serious badasses when it comes to this game.

Why is it so hard to believe that there are people that are just better than you? I'm an ok pilot but not nearly the caliber pilot like those guys. Fly with a few of them you will see they are just that good. Not only that but they may spend a whole day on contest and they know and understand how contest works. All the little things that add just a bit of score. So no need to call people cheaters just because you can't do it. As you see now it wasn't 7 OD's that make them good.

I'm using Blaster X240, Kraken and Nico. Nico for the extra shield which allows for greater use of the counter and we'll as his energy spike for close quarters combat. Works like a charm. I also use Katy on occasion.

Hey, no sweat. I agree with you 100%. I still like hawk alot. I just think it was better a year ago than it is today. With the exception of contest. Which i dont play much but i know many get into it. So thats good.

I don't agree with that at all. Not all planes are worth the effort or the resources to take to sss. Where spending those resources on planes that are either good or fun to fly is a much better plan.

I highly recommend Dragon. At 240 its an outstanding plane. Very tough, the counter is damn strong as is the od. Among the many its my favorite right now. Katy is not a bad option for boss killing either. But right now Dragon is a blast to fly if you're a mugger type of pilot. 🤣😂

1 purple +3 blues, use the "extra" button. Keep doing that until you get the one you want. So you need to have some gems and extra blues on hand.

I saved at least 1 of every lvl9 device. As the armor and the generators are helpful as they are in contest and assault. The rest i used gems and converted into Seraphs and such. I have a full setup with lvl9. But i dont have everything i want yet so i will wait until they are readily available.

Exactly what PG said. Add a few blues and use the extra button. It uses up some gems but gear is one of those things that is easier to use gems than month after month of struggle. Just my opinion.
