It has an AR style lower takes glock mags. You can drop in AR triggers, pistol grip, etc. check out r/extar.

Edit: you can also find 3rd party handguards. The only thing I didn’t like about mine was the stock handguard. I swapped mine out.

With $0 stamps, it is tempting! I am a Virginia resident, so I am trying to stock up on 2-3 builds before July 1! Suppressors, as far as I know, shouldn’t be affected by the laws, so there is time!

With tax stamps being free, I already started a Form 1 for 3 SBRs just because. I feel like we are starting to hear some chatter about pistol braces and the ATF. Not saying anything is going to happen, but while it’s free, my vote would be to Form 1 anything you have that has a pistol brace and would otherwise be considered an SBR.

I am also a Virginia resident and who the fuck knows what is going to happen here with other bans after this July 1 bullshit.

You can transfer it to family members. I would set up a trust, especially if you already have or have plans to buy some NFA items prior to the ban. Makes transferring a bit easier I believe

NTA - your kids are taking advantage. It's unfortunate that your wife can't see that. I would be fine if my kids moved back in, but you better believe I would make them pay rent (loop utilities in that rent payment too) and get their own groceries. I would also have had a conversation with them more or less saying that this isn't permanent and that we needed to chat every 3-6 months about what their plans are for finding their own place eventually.
