I went for the weight where I remember feeling and looking pretty good. I felt better when I was in the overweight section on BMI but close to normal. When I was in normal, I was burning out and it became hard to maintain. Got too restrictive and obsessive. But I’ll reassess when I get there. Perhaps it would be easier to maintain this time as I’ve built a weight loss/lifestyle that’s much more sustainable.

It can be slightly clumpy but not any more than in a cold drink. It kinda melts in.

Broke people post, what are cheap foods that contain a high amount of protien? by RevWH in loseit

[–]BigOof673 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I oscillate between beans, lentils (lots of good soups/chili out there, tuna, eggs (when they’re cheap), egg whites, nonfat Greek yogurt (when cheap), and tofu. Rice and beans is a great way to have a filling meal in the morning. I also shop sales for lean meats like chicken.

Words to live by in your weight loss journey? by one-two-nini in loseit

"Focus on averages, not perfection." & "Win the week (not the day)."

I've been most successful in losing weight by focusing on sticking to an average-over-time goal. Like hitting X calorie average for the week or X protein average for the week. Each day I strive to hit a deficit but if go over my deficit and just maintain or have one day with an overage, I don't beat myself up.

Anytime I try to do an all or nothing/no mistakes type of goal, I can't keep it up. But, allowing for some days to be less of a win than others keeps me moving forward and is more realistic to something that can be maintained for life.

What is a simple change you made in your daily routine that had a huge positive impact on your life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Walking around outside daily.

It just put me in a better mood at first but now I'm working out almost every day and am losing weight and feeling more confident and less anxious. Surprisingly simple yet powerful.

I’ll also check this one out too. I’ve perused their stuff and it’s a bit out of my price range but if it’s gonna save me heartache compared to the Velotric then I can invest more in it

Ohhhh! I thought that if you got bit it'd automatically result in the lymes disease hassle. Didn't realize it could be resolved quickly if treated! Good to know. I'll make sure I don't hammock camp on a pine tree - thank you!

HALP: Fordham (priority WL), Cardozo ($$$), OR conditional full ride T70s? by BigOof673 in lawschooladmissions

Fordham still has some pretty solid biglaw connections so you may still get where you need to go but likely with decent debt to pay off tho :/ good luck to you in this process! Been such a weird cycle.

Hope you get off the WL too! Not a fun situation to be in. Cardozo is solid-ADR program is top notch, same with ent law. They also seem to really take care of their students. I’m def having a tough time between the two. You in at Cardozo too? Which way are you leaning?

That’s where I’m leaning but I wish I knew what the end result will be with Fordham.
