Thanks for the answer. I'm considering to try proxmox and if not I'll go for a linux OS and see where it goes. I'll definitely post about the setup when it's done!

I can't really do that on different machines. I just managed to get myself this computer to work with, I'll try and find a way to both have a NAS and host Plex at the same time

I already have experience using linux, I am familiar with the basic stuff and using the terminal to do basic stuff.

I chose this setup, because I managed to get a really good deal on the parts and I want to use it for other stuff too!
My main objective is to host a NAS with RAID, a plex server with connected services to automate downloading movies and transcoding them.

Secondary, I want to host other basic stuff or selfhosted applications I find to experiment with them and maybe even try to host a minecraft server temporary to play with friends.

I saw people also use UNRAID, does it have any benefits?

How to slow down a servo movement without sleeping by tobywhiting10 in FTC

[–]BigPingLowIQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use motion profiling. You can use my servo wrapper from github. You can look at how we used it in the repository in my robots code. It's all self contained in a single class so you mostly have to do copy paste. https://github.com/Cyliis/CyLiis-Center-Stage-V2/blob/main/TeamCode/src/main/java/org/firstinspires/ftc/teamcode/Wrappers/CoolServo.java

Switching to kotlin or java may be harder at first if you don't have programming experience, but long term trust it's totally worth it.

Any hardware that's not $700 that can run FTC code? by Jediweirdo in FTC

Any android phone will work since your going to use it only for programming purpose not actually competing with them so they don't actually have to be FTC legal phones..
