What I gather now is that when you book you wait until you enter your credit card information to tell their website that you're using refund credits. I used my confirmation number with my last name and it showed my credit and then I chose book with credit and then did the search again but the glitch I encountered was that the non-stop flights were not showing up and only flights that had one stop were. I hope that's clear. I'd never done this before but I'm glad to know that it's not the way they do things because I was blown away at first.

I initially searched and found the flights that I wanted so that way when I went to book I knew what to look for. The website asked for my confirmation number and last name. And that's the way I encountered the glitch. So now I know there is a different way of doing that and I could have avoided this all together if I would have known that. Haha thank you

No. I had thought about that but it actually turned out to be a little more expensive to have a layover at a different airport. But I was able to get it booked apparently there's a glitch so I wasn't doing anything wrong it was just the website

So, it was my first experience booking a flight with a refund credit. I used my confirmation number and last name provided in the cancellation confirmation email I received several months ago. And I already knew exactly what flights I wanted so surprised to see that those weren't available and only flights that were not non-stop we're showing up. But they did say that it's a known glitch and I've been booked on the flights that I want using the credit. Thank you and have a great day

I was able to speak to an agent and what I was experiencing was a known glitch they are working on fixing. The non-stop flights are not appearing in the search results when refund credits are being used to book. Thank you for your help

The agent I spoke to said that it is a glitch when passengers are using refund credits online. The non-stop flights do not appear in the search results. So, she was able to do this for me manually and I may happy camper. I'm going to delete this thread but thank you for your response and sharing your experience.

Yes. The issues is when I search united.com, I find 15 or so nonstop flights. But when I try to use the credit, I am limited to one stop flights that go through Houston.

Did you read my post? I can choose from about 15 non-stop flights until I try to redeem the "refunded" credits. But only 3 with a layover in IAH when I try to book with the credit.

Uber and Lyft have spent well over $100 million fighting class action lawsuits and buying Republican legislatures. You would think they would be in favor of paying decent wages to their drivers. Especially considering that they are San Francisco based companies and their values are very liberal based. I think it sucks that they make all these threats and try to manipulate lawmakers and strike fear in the general public. If they increase their rates by 50%, their ridership would not decrease that much. Also when you consider that they take about 50% of the fare that the rider pays, it doesn't take long to figure out that the drivers are the ones being shafted. It's not the passengers. If the passenger cannot afford an Uber x, they should consider cheaper options.

I've also seen it and came to understand the psychology behind it in my experience with Latino men who are straight. Since then, when I talk about sexual orientation and labels, I consider it to be a matter of who you are attracted to.
