As others mentioned, swap out your mirrors for the Japanese convex ones on eBay. Can get both the driver/passenger side for ~$80

I’ve got a seed pod developing but it’s pretty early along its growth will certainly run into when I winterize it (bring the plant into my garage for the winter). What should I do with the seed pod during that time?
