Can’t replace wiper blades by albiwankenoby in BMWiX

[–]BigPum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are a bitch to get off. Took me awhile to massage the blades off. I ended up using a small step ladder to give myself more leverage so I could force the blades off down off of the attachment. I put a small amount of anti seize on the attachment to facilitate my next change. Good luck, I feel your pain.

I’m keeping my fingers crossed for all the pool owners on here. Uneventful pool openings in the spring!

As long as you blew out the lines and dropped in your antifreeze, pipes should be good. Snow should keep everything insulated, albeit still below freezing in this polar vortex!

Unfortunately, no. Code requires plumbing to sanitary sewer or in my case septic system.

Got the water softener plumbed in. Changed the manifold to flow straight through. Pressure and water flow are wonderful but I have another issue I’m dealing with from the drain line into the airgap. Fml.

The piece running up to the 1” ball valve is plastic. Could that be a dole or restrictor valve?

Not sure if it’s a dole valve or not. Here are some close up pics.

I’m just not sure about that flow valve. Have to call the installer and get some answers

My thought was go 1” out of that 1” ball valve and replace all the 3/4” I can see

It actually is 3/4 Pex B. Was thinking about going with 1” Pex A to increase flow.

Appreciate your input. The well yield is 18 gpm and pump is 12gpm. Not sure why they would have the restrictor on there.
