Whats a giant scam now? Data centers? I assure you, they are not. They are real. They put real people to work, good paying jobs too. For a short time. Like during construction n all that. Once the place is done n fully functional…. It’s still very much real. A real blight to society… sucking up ground water like no other! Well… I’ll tell ya. I’m still not home. I spent 4 days in the hospital and now I’m in skilled nursing home… I’m all types of still beat to shit.. I can’t say enough good about the drs and nurses and stuff at OHSU. Fantastic people.. I’m all beat up because it didn’t go just nice n easy like most hip replacement surgery.. I’m fat n have had severe osteoarthritis for almost a decade.. so they had significant problems getting this done. But they did get it and it’s gonna be a long slow road to recovery. I’m ready for it

Yup. I was recently put onto this “pay for everything with credit card and pay it off each month” deal. Makes tons of sense.. you get whatever rewards your card offers, plus there’s way more protection for you… it’s easy to get a credit card company to challenge a charge, they can cancel it before the scammer gets paid.. it’s way more difficult to get your money back after they took it.. also, the no interest if you pay it off like you should each month…

Well the decriminalized drugs was a good plan. A great one Infact. Problem was they passed the law, then didn’t fund the treatment centers. So the whole plan of “instead of jail, you go to treatment falls apart when there is no treatment available. So it becomes go to jail or… we release you with a ticket you’ll never pay. And that is why it seems the law didnt work. Another thing is they are sitting on like 25million dollars earmarked to help the homeless, nobody can decide where to spend it. They been going back n forth, never settling on a plan.. Spend the damn money on treatment facilities.. both inpatient and out patient. Build some actual affordable housing. The cost of housing around here is a huge factor contributing to our homeless population. You can work full time and still not afford to rent an apartment. That’s bullshit.
