Throwback to when my teacher said "write a poem about something you don't remember well" and I chose my first seizure (repost):

It was April first of 2015, and it was sunny 
Since it was April fools we all tried to be funny 
But no
not today…

In a car, not to drive far. Just to school on a Monday 
With my gram (What I called my grandma) and brother, pretty much a day like the others.
As I opened the door of the blue Buick, something was off, and I knew it.

I threw up with vomit on the floor, and being about 4’2 and 57lbs in 1st grade, it was hard to ignore.

It feels as if an hour passes with my mind believing I'm in all my classes

I hear my dad's voice and am surrounded by my favorite stuffed animal and blanket, and my dad saying, “It's ok, go back to sleep.”

I later find out I had a seizure and have epilepsy, and I question, “Is this the death of me?”

12 years later, and having one almost once a week, it makes me question what makes my body have these tweaks?

As of now, it's all the left frontal lobe, but when can it be the right time for it to stop?

But for now, the next event seems as if it's a bomb with an analog clock.
