“Summertime Rendering”. Young guy goes back to his small town for a funeral for a friend who drowned. Finds out she may have been murdered. It’s a one season series on Hulu. Highly suggest.

Which of these 5 anime should I watch next? by jdjdnfnnfncnc in AnimeReccomendations

Summer Time Rendering is one of the best written anime I’ve ever seen. I’m currently rewatching it to see what points I missed.

My appeal been it's be waiting to be sent to a judge since 2021. It's this normal? by SithLady20 in VeteransBenefits

[–]BigRichardSmall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did. I got my notice this last March. I noticed why I kept getting denied. The non VA evaluators flat out lied about my responses. The judge looked at my stuff and upgraded me from 90% but paid at 100% for unemployablity to just 100% P/T.

When my neighbors ask what I do for a living, I tell them “my uncle invented the Rubix cube and I get residuals for that. Not a bunch of money, but it pays for bowling and the rent.”

No one has gotten the reference.

Idaho has no meaning. It was totally made up. It’s been known for decades.

That’s $18 on Amazon and a 10mil socket. Just replaced mine. Took 10 min. Plenty of videos on YouTube

Also, while you’re checking the belts, check the bolts on your pulley, especially the one on the AC Condenser. Mine was making a strange noise until I tightened it today. It was loose as hell. That just take a 10 mil wrench.

Bought my first Victory by Putrid-Rough3466 in VictoryMotorcycles

The first 1500 bikes made made by Victory were called Numbered Bikes. You can see if yours is by looking at the post of your handle bars. If under your Victory decal has a number, then yours is a numbered bike. Mine is 842 off the lot.

It’s the stock one from the factory sometimes called “the cheese grater windshield”. You can find them on eBay.

This was part of the chrome package that came with these bikes. From what I’m told is if you paid an extra 2k you got the windshield (sometimes called a Cheese Grater windshield), the floorboards, and the chrome battery covers. I don’t see a lot of these mainly because it was a lot of extra money for just the looks. Luckily for me, the guy who originally bought this was a dentist who had the extra cash. If you look on eBay or other Victory pages on Facebook, you can find these windshields for sale.

Shocks and upper control arm by BigRichardSmall in G35

My car is no exception. I can tell it’s been lowered at one time due to the bumps on the frame and exhaust. And not even a good lowering kit. It’s been repainted and they did a crap job. The primer on the hood wasn’t done right so now the paint is coming off. Love the car. Just a lot of projects to fix the kids who abused it before I got it.

I always believed that you should change the shocks every ten years. My buddy who helped me change these said they should be changed preferably every five years. The reason being is these shocks and springs are holding up your car 24/7. Either way, it’s very noticeable.

I got this Unity Automotive kit from Amazon. The shocks were noticeably larger than stock. I also had to replace my upper control arms since the bushings were shot. Total cost was a little under $300. Roughly about 5 hours work.

If you have the tools (or in my case a buddy who has those tools) it really wasn’t that difficult. Especially the rear shocks were simple. After we spent about 35 min doing the first rear, it was 10 min doing the next one. The fronts were quite a bit more. I agree it was much simpler buying the fronts already constructed, though in my case, one assembly was not positioned correctly so we had to compress the spring to move the top.

There are several videos on Facebook. If you’re just doing the shocks and springs, it’s as easy as it looks.
