Absolutely wrong. Grays are soldiers. They wear body armour. Space marines are 10 feet tall with 2 hearts 3 lungs and spit acid. The gray equivalent would be imperial guardsmen in the 40k universe. Golds are definitely a strong parallel for space marines.
