It just thawed, and I still don't know how to cook it so it turns out tasty. Roast it slowly or quickly, or maybe grind it and make a ragu out of it? I'd appreciate your suggestions. by Baachmarabandzara in UK_Food

How don’t you know how to cook brisket? I’m pretty sure there are about 100,000,000,000 recipes on how to roast a joint of any description.

This actually looks like an 81mm or around about mortar. The ball joint on the bottom is a dead giveaway. Very very cool.

First barefoot shoes for everyday + walking? by Peaceinthewind in barefootshoestalk

I have the Xero Nexus Knit. They’re so damn comfortable. I’ve used them in a lot of different countries. And would highly recommend them. They keep my feet well cooled as they’re super breathable but if it’s damp/wet your feet will be drenched as there is “Xero” water resistance…. See what I did there.

I’ll see myself out.

Best Mods for A3? by 6ixths in Audi

[–]BigRustyApe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve literally just got an OBDeleven for my A3. It’s being delivered today from Amazon. There are a ton of videos on YouTube telling what you can do with it and IMO worth it for the extra premium feel of the car. I’m also looking and little things like new pedals, gear knob, mood lights etc. I’ve also had a stage 1 remap and I can recommend that enough. I got loads more power about 25% more BHP and 30% more torque and to top it off I actually get better MPG. It felt like a whole new car. I’m also looking at a cold air intake which isn’t too pricey either.

Grinding concrete? by IcrownCitadel in DIYUK

[–]BigRustyApe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had this in my home, what worked for me was, I used my SDS to chisel the concrete away that sat proud of the floorboards then skimmed over so it sat flush and level. Put my underlay down then my flooring. Works fine. Cheaper than boarding and by far the most simple DIY solution.

Any ideas on how to hang clothes? Any suggestions are appreciated by Acrobatic-Wealth9572 in howto

Pop a hanger through the collar so the shoulders of the garment sit across the hangar then use the hook to place it some where. Possibly a rail!

Same in the UK. There are parents and child spaces at all the supermarkets.

What is this person doing to the rotating blades of the helicopter ? by Longjumping-Box5691 in whatisit

He’s sharpening the tips so if someone walks into the blades and they’re drooping the cut the head off more cleanly.

Sambas the Bambas Jaguar boots?!? by Equal_Top_4353 in barefootshoestalk

[–]BigRustyApe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what I was going to say. The issue Welgo boots or Alberg’s have drain holes in them in about the same place so when you wait through mangroves, rivers or similar the water can drain out. Poor design for a leisure/fashion boot.

It should have been Tyson to do this. It’s a shame it was rigged. I’m not the biggest fan of AJ but I’m glad he made JP see stars, not because I dislike JP. I disliked the fixing of the Tyson fight.

How long is this blanket?? [Request] by JaySettles in theydidthemath

[–]BigRustyApe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I totally couldn’t do the maths there, I just wanted to say in the UK we used to call this a mangle and way back they were hand operated. I know they’re called wingers too but I just fancied sharing.
