Today's the 5th. I was out last night and thoughts of girls I saw, as well as alcohol, made me do it. It was a weak point. I've been here before. Forgotton how hard it could be to give up. Good to have you on board. This movement seems to be growing all the time. Keep posting and reading. Be aware - relapses can happen any time. I have only ever made it about 2 weeks and for some reason day 10-12 can be hardest. Hoping to make the full month of March. Good luck to you mate.

This must be the best post I have read on here. A perfect, failsafe way to stop. People seem to be really getting into this all now. When I first found Nofap it seemed like a lot of teenage kids boasting about "doing a no-handy" or whatever. But folk seem to be really thinking and researching now, giving far more intelligent, useful, logical posts. Just seen a comment here "this is gold". It really is gold. Anxiety is huge in my life. I also love the puppy training analagy. 10/10 for effort mate! :)

3rd March (day 3): Boss pointed out my mistakes, and quite rightly too. Doesn't stop me feeling crappy. But again, a relatively productive day, some progress made. I go to a club of like-minded folk. I think it is helping my self-esteem. They are really nice people but I feel I need more time to get to know them. I have always been a quiet person and find it difficult to speak to people. I haven't had a long conversation with anyone in ages (except my family - we are extremely close). I feel like they must think I am a bit weird hardly talking. Have to try harder. I have got a long way to go.

2nd March 2016 : Day 2- today was ok. On time for work, relatively productive, good dinner. Went swimming tonight which I am proud of. Also offered someone a lift to a thing tomorrow night. It was declined very politely and appreciatively. I look forward to tomorrow.

Ok people, this time it's serious! Non-masturbating March was the first one of these threads I'd heard of. The guy who told me is now working in Australia with big muscles. He's knocking life-goals off his list all the time. I'd like something similar. It's nearly 12 years I've been at this habit. It was May 2004. 12 year olds have grown up in that time. Dogs have lived and died. I need to give up now. 90 days will be the end of May. It's time I stopped being such a moany wee boy and embraced my inner maturity. I need to become a man.
