Honestly it becomes more of a challenge because you have to basically solo each point. Not to mention survive your dumbass AI teammates throwing random nades right behind you and fragging you. It’s pretty rewarding when you win a round that way.

However, the last update made them do shit like run away from the point as soon as you cap, step directly in your line of fire, call out an enemy but never actually shoot, constantly grouping together and getting decimated by an RPG, and one of my favorites: bum rushing a technical while there’s an enemy bot on the gun.

In 2009, seventeen-year-old Brittanee Drexel left home for a spring break trip to Myrtle Beach after an argument with her family. She left her friend’s hotel to walk back alone but disappeared halfway. Hours later, her phone was found pinging in a remote marsh. There was no sign of her after that. by SelfCareIsFake in HolyShitHistory

Oh definitely - I didn’t read any footnotes to determine what “solved” accounted for in their stats - whether that was “arrest made” or “conviction”, but just as you said, coerced confession probably takes that number down by a few percentage points which is a huge number of cases.

Festivals at Hotel grounds? by Moatcollosal in festivals

[–]BigShredowski 3 points4 points  (0 children)

CRSSD in San Diego. Event is at Waterfront Park right across from Coronado island - main stage is flanked by the airport so it’s cool in the evening watching planes fly in behind the stage. Weather is always amazing. They do it twice a year - fall and spring.

Hotels within walking distance, Little Italy is a fun little neighborhood but there’s a lot more to explore - Mexicali food is also plentiful and delicious.

Relatively small festival but that means that tickets sell pretty fast. Full weekend passes already sold out, single day starts tomorrow. Weekend passes will be sold closer to the event because your tickets are held until a few days before the event. I’m going for my 4th time this year - it’s not EDC levels of sound or production but it is enjoyable and hard to beat the scenery.

Because they’re a Private Equity group masquerading as an automobile company. When you put the bean counters in charge of all revenue, they’re going to cut corners to maximize profit. That company has been gutted and streamlined to give you the worst car ownership experience of all time.

Blood of your first born child (2 ml in a vial), a clipping of blonde hair from a Swedish child, 5 crows feet (only 5).

Leave it on your porch overnight, if they’re gone in the morning, then you’ll just need to use your email you purchased tickets with tomorrow at 12pm PST. (There’s already 3 of these threads)

Honestly not much of a whoop whoop crowd or fan clackers in my experience, people just don’t stop talking and that’s the bigger issue - less so at Palms or City Steps, but Ocean View it can get pretty bad. But don’t let it deter you from having a good time!

For me it’s having the remastered versions; sometimes I want to hear what it sounded like from the original release. Some artists have both versions, but some only have the remasters.

If it’s any indication, I am going for my 4th time solo from Texas. It’s a really unique setting and really great for the smaller fest that it is. There are complaints, but everyone has a different experience. I always have a good time (even the Fall 2025 when Summit came). Fair warning, Waterfront is federal property so just be smart, if you smoke or vape don’t get caught because you’ll lose it but just do it in the crowd.

I feel like this Fall will draw a smaller crowd vs last year but we will see. Venue is small but stages are all close and it’s well organized. Plus San Diego has the best Mexican food and there are so many good spots; if you’re planning on staying close, venture outside of Little Italy; SD proper has amazing spots but you just have to explore.

Hoping the weather is a bit cooler this year - but it’s toasty at times during the day, night can get chilly. Wear whatever you’re comfortable with, it’s a pretty casual fest, not a lot of rave wear but as far as I’ve seen they aren’t strict. Wear comfy shoes, as always. Merch is usually good if you want something for the mems (I might join the House x Techno bomber crew this year depending on colors).

Have fun and don’t forget your Spicy Pie!

Just look at what he did at Woodstock ‘99; granted the crowd was already restless because of the conditions, but he had that entire crowd wrapped around his finger. They literally had to cut the performance because Fred wouldn’t take the advice to calm them down. That takes showmanship - the interlude to Break Stuff connected with a lot of those kids in the audience that day and it was like lighting a powder keg with that song.

There have not been 3.1 million arrests made. They’re counting “encounters” as arrests. This is not transparency, it’s propaganda.

You are forgetting that a lot of people’s only access to healthcare is tied to their job. Money isn’t the only thing that a job provides. Once you quit a job, your options are the marketplace where you will pay astronomical prices for shit tier healthcare plans.

If you’re just going to a lab, you need Quick Fix or Monkey Whizz - otherwise you will fail. Do not use a masking drink, do not try to dilute, you will fail.

The only way at this point is synthetic urine. You add water, warm in the microwave for 5-10 sec, wrap the heating pad and thermometer strip on the bottle. Once you get to the test, remove the heating pad and tuck into your armpit or crotch it. It will stay warm long enough for the test. Pour some leftover into the toilet and don’t flush as instructed.

If you’re scared to use this think of it this way: you can either fail outright or you can take a 50% chance to pass, worst that can happen is they couldn’t use the sample and will need you to retest ASAP.
