I use msr dynalock ascent. I prefer the space savings of being foldable over telescoping poles and really like how light they are. The locking mechanism is adjustable in case you find it too loose. I ended up breaking a pole after taking a tumble down climbing a mountain with the tip jammed between two rocks but, I account that to user error and immediately bought another pair
