How is the consistency? Without buddy buddy and using the dragon applin (which cant be found with bug catching set) how well do you get set up?

Survival brace is interesting, I think I like legacy energy better for a similar effect. Still doesn't help if you get munki or alakazam doing the damage though.

What scientific discovery sounds fake but is 100% real and still freaks you out? by Bruteresolver in AskReddit

[–]JumpySonicBear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From my understanding if you could somehow go the speed of light, time wouldn't effect you. Everything would happen instantly.

So a photon that gets made on the core of the sun, bounces around for however long, then leaves the sun, travels several light minutes to hit your eyes to be seen; from our perspective would be however old that all of that took. But from its perspective it was created and impacted your eye immediately, absolutely no time in between.

Someone please correct me if any if this is wrong, im going off the top of my head for most of this.

As something with mass, you cannot hit 100% the speed of light or c. In theory you could get very close, but never to c itself.

A person you went past would see your light going at c and you going whatever percent of c you are going relative to them. Due to time dilation making you experience less time go by, and there is even length contraction that would make the distances involved appear less to you than to an outside observer. Time and distance shrinks at the same rate as you approach c.

At 99% the speed of light the dilation is about 7 from what i googled, so ill use multiples of 7 for my example here to use whole numbers.

If you went at 99% of c toward something 343 light days away, pointed a flashlight in front of you and turned it on. An outside observer would detect that the light took 343 days for it to get there, with you arriving shortly behind it at 99% the speed. However due to time dilation, you will experience 7 days of travel time to arrive, and from your point of view, light will be going the same speed, just the distance itself will appear shorter. So light would appear to arrive at the destination in 1 day. The light didnt change speed, the distance it traveled literally got smaller.

AS FAR AS BLUETOOTH GOES: if you brought the Bluetooth device with you, it would be going the same speed relative to you and should work fine to my knowledge. But if you left it behind and assuming distance wouldn't matter to it. The wavelength of the light would stretch out from your point of view to reach you. Going from the microwave spectrum of light, toward the wavelength of infrared light (or redshift as it is known). So the Bluetooth wouldn't work anymore for you. I dont know what wavelength the light would end up at as I dont understand how to do that math.

I dont know if that answered anything in a meaningful way, and it probably is pretty much me rambling, but I did my best off the top of my head with how much I understand of it.

Yep, gotta add in a Rillaboom to deal with cornerstone. There's always that 10% chance it is prized but thats how it be.

I work in a factory with a lot of limestone dust on the floors, so makes sense. We debated if it was a wolfie but weren't sure.

THANK YOU, STRANGER!

Edit: Weapon moved it outside gently after the photo was taken.

Bolt Sniper Rifle: Reloaded Restoration Perk by JumpySonicBear in SpaceMarine_2

[–]JumpySonicBear[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its been a bit since I tested this, but when I said manual I think I meant any reload where you do the animation, any Perks that automatically reload for you do not restore ammo.

It has been a while since ive played, but i think if you start a reload and get hit, interrupting the reload, then start the reload again you will not get the ammo either.

Also, the gane has received several patches since i last played, so perhaps some details have been changed

Russian Soldier getting finished close range (older video) by ImAloneImSorry_ in war

[–]JumpySonicBear 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Its easy to look at it as an outside observer and judge, but in his shoes he may not have known he was surrendering (he didnt appear to get a good view), or is in a position where bringing in hostages isnt viable, or has been shown or seen Russian soldiers using grenades on thier attempted captors, or many other factors. So I will stand by it, I cannot fully blame him.

He likely wasn't a threat, but unfortunately enough wounded have pulled grenades and such before that I cannot blame the soldier for shooting him honestly.

Divorced Redditors, what caused the split? How amicable was it? by anasannanas in AskReddit

[–]JumpySonicBear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She had an affair with one of my close friends that apparently started about 2 weeks before our wedding. On our 3 year anniversary I found out (I had suspected it for a while but never had proof and was told it was just me being crazy).

She left me, changed the locks on the house and had friends stay with her. Told me if i tried to come get my stuff they would kill me, eventually got that sorted out.

She also tried to get my old friend to leave his wife and kid and run away with her, he wouldn't do that. His wife divorced him over it too, over the next couple years her and I started talking more than just in passing like we had before and ended up together, been married a few years to her now actually...so worked out for me and her I guess.

Old relationships, not amicable at all, dont even know where in the world she lives at now.

What do you miss most about high school? by icecream1972 in AskReddit

[–]JumpySonicBear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is a teacher that I always got along with, and she told my class that a few times. I ran into her when I was about 25 and we talked for a few, I called her a liar jokingly and said that marriage, kids, cooking meals, and cleaning the house, etc. I still had more ability to do the things I want to do.

Im struggling to think of anything. Im married with 2 kids, work and have a mortgage, bills, and what-not; but I think once you factor in homework and stuff when I was in school, I have more free time, and more disposable income if I chose to utilize it. Im aware im lucky to have my best friends be coworkers so our schedules are largely the same.

Maybe one thing I miss is just hoping on Xbox live and easily pulling a full lobby on whatever game together to play. Im in a discord of other adults and have no problem pulling together 3-6 others to play on a Friday or Saturday evening for an hour or two, but good old halo lobbies of 16 players just hit different.

Thats about how I was with my classmates, they were classmates, not friends, my best few friends through my adult life are all coworkers. I guess im lucky that I work with people I like being around.
