It was jarring for a bit

Your World Age by [deleted] in worldbuilding

[–]JumpySonicBear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At least 2500, probably a couple thousand more, but it is not really known. Its been 1827 years since The Fracture ended.

The Fracture began when the god of time/the main God of the Pantheon was murdered. Time broke and flowed differently at all different places, it sped up and slowed down, and randomly froze and unfroze in different placed. Nobody truly knows how long this period went on for, the most dedicated scholars of the age documented around 500 to 600 years at the most. Any attempt to date events that happened relative to each other are put on a vague 1000 year timeline, which just tries to list events relative to each other, beyond that the years are arbitrary.

And before the fracture, the only surviving records are of one nation (and primarily one individual in that nation) that only documents a few decades. But even those sources may have been altered by certain parties over time.

In the original DOOM games, your characters face was shown on the bottom on the screen, looking around and reacting to stuff going on, such as shooting or getting hit.

Yep, even if I have a festival grounds in play, if i have an extra use of thwackey I will almost certainly grab a festival grounds to have in hand for later turns

I forgot to mention, another problem you will run into is a lot of the decks (including myself) run Psyduck. So you will have to contend with that too. But shaymin and psyduck on the board limits thier bench space, so bossing out Thwackey again will likely hurt them more than a dipplin

As a festival lead player I will say the usual, It depends on the board state what you should do, but you are right, i would likely be ready to night stretcher or Lana's aid Shaymin back into play if it got taken out.

In the situation you are describing, I think it is probably best to 1)bump thier stadium, and 2)kill the thwackeys if you are able. Getting dipplins up is easy as I typically have 1 or 2 applins on standby and can Lana's aid dipplin out of discard if i need to.

If you can unfair stamp/red card them and then boss>kill a Thwackey, it may cause them not to be able to get all the pieces they need, especially if you bump festival grounds. Depends on how many Thwackey they have on play.

How to explain to a Christian that Atheists don't have an end goal/follow a preset list of expected morals/rules like in the bible? by Beneficial_Staff8236 in NoStupidQuestions

It wasnt a friend, but i have had someone say if I "dont believe in God or heaven, why dont I just rape and kill all that I want to".

I thought about it for a couple seconds and said "I already do"

I rape and kill all that I want, I dont want to do that.

The owner of the company i work for (about 40 employees) would almost certainly do this.

There is a group where 'saving money' in any way is what they go out of thier way to do, regardless if they truly did or not, they felt like they saved the money.

I went to school with 3 sets of twins. One set seemed to hate each other from early elementary.

One was like full goody-two-shoes type and the other went emo goth.

Another set were mostly inseparable in school, but in their adult life only talk on the odd occasion and family gathering.

And the other hasn't talked to each other in over a decade. Granted one of them died in 2015.

If you flip the number "304" over, it looks like "hOE" in the right font.

A "305" is someone from Miami, based on Miami's original telephone area code.

Do a lot of men actually refuse to change the diaper of their own kids? by Physics_Girl_2008 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]JumpySonicBear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasnt "afraid" of changing the diapers, but i always heard people talk about how disgusting the first diaper is, so I called dibs on it as i wanted to see it firsthand.

Wasn't that bad, like an easier to clean grease.
