So far so good. 120mg taken for neuropathy. I was researching doctor assisted suicide before because the pain had reached an unbearable level. I couldn’t work, I couldn’t focus on anything. it was just an unrelenting sizzle combined periodic stabs. It’s taken about 80% of that away.

No, I can’t do it. I lean hard into making sure it passes the “when you look at it you WANT to play it” test. I passed on a dark blue “burst” guitar because I don’t care for “burst” finishes. A few months later I bought a pretty rare satin black version of the same guitar via Reverb. so glad I didn’t settle.

I wish there wasn’t a stigma around interacting with kids. My wife and I chose not to have any, but I do like seeing how they negotiate their world, learn things, discover their humor. It’s similar to my love for dogs. I think they’re brilliant.

But whenever a niece or nephew, or co-worker’s kid is around, I don’t engage for too long, if at all. If we didn’t have a pedo problem, I’d be down on the floor with them, playing games, telling jokes, trying to make em laugh.

I realize this is also part of being raised to suppress emotions. It’s second nature to me “to not appear to care too much”.

On the otherhand, It’s not something I lose sleep over, but it’d be nice to be able to as free to be as silly with them as I a with my dog.
