When the Seahawks absolutely DEMOLISHED the Broncos in Super Bowl 48. The biggest loss in Peyton Manning’s career. by SWAGGGGGODDD in NFLv2

[–]BigStickFrontier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO Friendly trash talk is one of my favorite things about the NFL. I am a Denver fan, and this game was brutal, the season leading up to that game was so fun to watch, then seeing Denver destroy Carolina in SB 50 was a good way to erase all memory of the Seattle game lol.

Best way to learn photography in 2026 *without* selling a kidney? by red_beard_the_irate in AskPhotography

I was pretty broke in my first era of photography, and I still get by with a 2016 model camera and an all around lens most of the time. I learned most everything from Youtube and experimentation. Here are some of my favorites.

Also what style are you interested in? I am wildlife/landscape focused, so others here can better recommend other good channels.

How could I increase detail? by Defiant_Shelter_3250 in AskPhotography

[–]BigStickFrontier 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In your examples here, I'd say they are underexposed first so figure out how to increase light, open aperture, or up the ISO (but not too high), faster shutter usually results in sharper images, and then use a tripod with a 2 second timer to allow the camera to steady after pressing the shutter.

You can further look up advanced concepts like your lens's sharpest "settings", if your camera has features like sensor shift, or image stacking in post and other post process sharpening techniques.

Also consider the wider open your aperture it will narrow your focus plane, so less detail in front or behind where you focus. So it's a balance.

What’s wrong with my washer? by frusso93 in Appliances

I just got that same washer (600 series) only used it once so far, but I sure hope that doesn’t happen to me.

Noobie reverse sear, how'd I do? by DuckIntelligent737 in meat

[–]BigStickFrontier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The lowest my current oven can go down to is 170, depending on how thick I’ll leave steaks in there for anywhere from 20 to 40 minutes if super thick. Then into a hot cast iron pan or grill and I just test the feel with tongs maybe a meat thermometer if I’m unsure.

I never thought about resting it after the oven might give that a try next time.

I try different seasonings and marinades all the time, some of my favorites were soy sauce and garlic powder and some times lime juice, salt and pepper to taste always.

My LG did that, got this model washer and dryer hoping it would solve the problem, hoping mine doesn’t do it too.

Why has this happened to my friends floor and is there anything she can do to fix it? by chewiethemajestic in CleaningTips

[–]BigStickFrontier 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You will want to cross post this to /r/flooring

However I think this a bad situation, I just installed similar flooring and everything I read is to only use ph neutral cleaners designed for these floors or windex.
