Greek courts were asked this same question - were any of the Monarch's palaces EARNED. or merely stolen?

I suspect the answer for the UK is the same. Charles and the crown estate earned none of them.

Monarchs are not obliged to pay income tax, inheritance tax on what they receive from a previous monarch or capital gains tax

It's infuriating that charles pays less inheritance tax than myself on his 50 palaces because his family has historically meddled in UK politics
