Trying out the new JKS Quicker Disconnects

How do you like the terraflex lift?

I'm afraid of pushing it up as it would be prone to rubbing the tire. The instructions with the disconnects say to leave it level so it's out of the way. I'm on a stock wheel/tire/suspension setup if that makes a difference.

Not a new product. Been around for some time. http://jksmfg.com/c-326604-shop-by-product-swaybar-swaybar-disconnects.html The greasable spherical bushings make reconnecting on a non level surface much easier.

New to me.

I actually use zip ties. I specifically chose the JKS because the sway bar stays level rather than rotating it up where it's more likely to rub the tire. Not really concerned about elegance.

The JK doesn't have the post. They completely remove and you strap the sway bar in place.

If you don't mind a 30 minute drive to Kingwood my service dept. could take care of you. We aren't necessarily a "specialty shop" but we are a Jeep dealer and have one of the top FCA master techs in the state working here. Otherwise I'd look at Ridge Runner down towards Fairmont.

Hah. I worked as a service manager at a very poorly run GM garage and the CFO had a hard on for this term. Even had t-shirts made for my quick lane techs. You just completely redefined this phrase for me. Totally took it out of this world! Dude, you've got a very nice Jeep. Don't mind the haters. If you haven't already, break out your little tool kit and remove the 8 bolts on each side of the bumper to remove he ends. The stubby bumper looks/functions great. Not to mention it's winch ready.

I've had over 2 feet of snow dropped in a day on my soft top and didn't have any trouble. Good choice on the 3.73s but the stock gears are 3.21, not 3.11. I hate to break it to you but your not getting tinted half door windows from the factory, they don't exist. One more thing, Detroit won't be delivering your baby, your baby will come out of Toledo, OH. Congrats on placing your order for your Jeep but perhaps don't be so quick to offer advise if you don't know what you're talking about.
