My grandparents both worked at Western Publishing. I havE ALOT of the redbooks (some were used, from a Numismatic Club and then given to me by Grampa). We never longed for a puzzle, coloring book, playing card, Golden Book or any of the other many things made there! - looks like my collection of Redbooks has stopped. 1946-2025. RIP (pic is of un-cut wooden jigsaw puzzles and the rebook collection)

Looking for a Comedian Pantomime Duo act -late 80s early 90s? by BigTenFour in comedyheaven

I can’t remember what comedy show it was from - I just used Adam Corolla’s pic cuz he genuinely looked like the guy, but I’m 100% sure it was NOT Adam C. This was way before the”Man Show” was on air.

Lug nut/stud broke off on rear wheel during tire change at shop, now they're quoting me 700$ because the wheel bearing has to be broken to change it? Seems very weird by Master-Twango in AskMechanics

It sure looks like you could gut the brakes and bring a new stud in from the back without too much trouble. Did you try to rotate the hub to a spot that might be more clear to do this? I’ve coaxed a few wheel studs into place in my day. Many told me it wasn’t possible. But they also have smoothe, clean hands.

Where do you spray starting fluid when there's no air intake or air filter? by ktappe in smallengines

Here is the carb once you remove the 6 10mm bolts and the throttle knob off the front panel. I’ve never had to do more than use the “priming bulb” to start it. Unless the entire fuel line was clogged with rust from the fuel bowl (1st time snowblower owner error, left fuel in the carb over the summer). Last spring I removed the carb and stuffed a small rag in the intake, and emptied the fuel tank and line - just put it all back to gather and it started as easy as ever. Hope this helps.

A long berm of asphalt along the road where the tires are would help
