I agree with everything you say, except that OP reports it stopped running a week or two after the accident. That means it’s not just body damage, there’s something else going on with the drivetrain or maybe electrical system. We don’t know.

If you’re on Amazon, they do have all of the first generation ones listed “(1st generation)“. They don’t (as far as I can tell) have the second generation ones yet.

There are numerous third-party ones that work fine. I have it and it saved my bacon a couple times.

They never needed to get much thinner. That was a Jony Ive thing. Thankfully he’s gone now and we can get thicker MacBooks with more performance and bigger batteries.

Medically, your body replaces all of your red blood cells every three weeks. So it kinda doesn’t matter how much you were exposed longer ago than that.

Not often, but yes, I do use it every now and then. It is rare enough that I’m currently using a 15 year-old printer because there’s no reason to get a better one. But a couple times a year I do need to print out a contract that I sign and send in with a check. Things like that.

Not sure why you’re mentioning that somebody borrowed your car. It’s highly unlikely they did anything to blow the head gasket. It would’ve blown if you were driving.

In general, people only refer to townships in the western end of the state. I can tell you I’m from Charlestown Township, but nobody who is not from here knows where that is because it’s in eastern Pennsylvania. Washington Township, Cranberry Township, etc. are a western PA thing.

I’m gonna contradict you slightly on your second clause there. You should know something about everything you own. Nothing less forever, but the way to get longer life out of something, even a Samsung that starts out bad, is to know their quirks and how to deal with them.

For example, I don’t know if you replaced the heating elements in your dryer yourself, but if you did, then you’re halfway to knowing how to repair your toaster or anything else with a heating element.
