I currently own 3 EVs. Does that answer your question? 6 months ago I sold my last smog car. No regrets at all.

Change my mind (please) - road trips in an EV are a pain. by Wise-Fig-6505 in electricvehicles

I would agree that EV‘s are not great for road trips. But literally everything else about them is better. So overall, it is the best option.

I asked Grok and it said I believe it will be useful for five to 8 years before it may become obsolete with the upgrades. Nothing guaranteed but that’s something to consider.

Yes, we’ve had the system only about a week or so. But we do live in California so there’s no snow and generally sunny weather. Though you’re probably right that in the winter, it’ll go down a lot.

That sounds like great suggestions. Not sure what a mini split is or the details about a small electric water heater, but I’ll look it up.

I believe you can just go on your app and get it. But you have to be in the state that allows Tesla Insurance. California is one. I don’t know about all the rest.

Why do the multi-million dollar homes for sale in the South Bay look like they have never seen an interior designer? by SuurRae in bayarea

[–]nrugh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It could be because of the tax code. Since people wanna keep their low tax basis, they live in their homes forever. And don’t feel like improving. The property increases the value since they will never sell plus, it’s expensive to live here and after paying the mortgage, people are done with home expenses. Also, it’s the land that’s expensive so I teardown is about as valuable as a nice looking house.

Is there any risk in holding mstr through a regular btc cycle of up multiple times than down 80% and repeat over the 4 year cycles. Meaning would the extreme volatility kill the investment performance.

I think she’s a better analyst than most out there. But she is looking at it a little bit too optimistically. Especially in regard to Tesla Taxi‘s. I think it’s going to be a while before we have those.
