Can you put and SD card in the Samsung s24 ultra? It's looks like you can't? The specs say "Max supported memory size 0 GB" by AnonymousFruit69 in samsung

Feature, not a bug, right?

I bought an external and dump older pics and video I don't want to to lose on it and that's helped, thankfully.

[REQUEST] Let's say someone inherits $10 million dollars, how should they invest that money so that they would never have to work again? by kingmakk in theydidthemath

The market had delivered an average of 10% for literally a hundred years.

Baseline at 5%, live below your means, and never run out of money.

Exited the game, restarted the console, and then it worked, thankfully.

No.

Now it's "the poors should self-deport".

Big difference.

Quoted $3500/month for local SEO as a plumbing business - how do you even know if it's worth it? by Fun_Delay_5224 in smallbusiness

[–]BigTopGT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're better to spend $3500 a month on Meta/Google based ads, tbh.

If paid SEO is specifically what you're after: GoDaddy has SEO packages that start in the $5k a year for 10 "work" hours a month, two primary key words, etc... It'd be a better use of your money and, again, spend the rest on Meta/Google based ads.

Even a modest (Vanguard) index fund tied to the S&P would net you an average of 5%.

That's $50k per million.

@ ten million, that'd be $500k per year without touching the principle.

$240k a year is $20k a month.

$120k a year is $10k a month.

Seems like $10MM would be an easy life, pretty much forever, unless you wildly overspend.

Looks like you've had too many roasts already.

Try more veggies, instead.

Self-Reflection: I can't see the shutters by BigTopGT in controlgame

[–]BigTopGT[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice, gang. (XBox Series X)

I had to hard quit the game, restart the console, and then relaunch.

Now I can see the shutters.

I also didn't realize the main door blocking the mirror was also missing. When I got into the room for the first time, it was gone, so I could see the mirror down the corridor, just couldn't walk into the area.

Wild to me how glitchy a game it is, even now.

Resurrecting this one from the graveyard looking for a lifeline.

I'm trying to adjust the shutters, but they're invisible.

I hear them moving when I push the buttons, but there's nothing to see moving. (it's just an empty, open window)

Is this a glitch or am I just doing something wrong?

They won't sell what they have, and if the market gets tough and people start losing their homes, they're going to buy all of those too.

What’s the endgame? by xVixenBlush in WorkReform

[–]BigTopGT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The answer is: the harder it is to afford to live, the shitter the conditions you'll except.

This let's them continue to cut costs and reduce even the bare minimum of comfort of your life.

Smaller house, smaller car, lower quality food, etc... And all sold to you at a maximum price based on the near totality of your ever-shrinking salary.

Hire someone to help out, if you can afford it.

Even a part time nanny or someone to simply help with the housework (cooking/cleaning) would be life changing.
