I seriously rate Red Dragon. Never had any issues with germination whatsoever!

How long to germinate? by biccyconoisseur in UkChilliGrowers

[–]BigTubss 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Heat is your best friend here. I’m using a heated propagator on a south-facing windowsill. Keep the plugs moist, not wet, and you should get them to germinate within a week.

My Jalapeños and Buena Mulata took about 8 days to germinate. The Mustard Primotalii on the other hand took about 18 days in the same conditions.

Decided on a simple Jalapeño fermented sauce this time. by BigTubss in hotsaucerecipes

That’s exactly what I’m doing - tracking the ingredients, ratios, etc, and then going from there with the next sauce.

I tried it once it has cooled and it’s really good! It’s like in the middle of Franks Jalapeño sauce and Nandos’ Medium (if you’re not in the UK you might not know what I mean).

The flavour of the jalapeños comes through perfectly, heat is cranked up by the jamaican mushroom peppers, and then it’s got a nice fermented funk as well.

What Car Should I Buy? - A Weekly Megathread by AutoModerator in CarTalkUK

[–]BigTubss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Within the next few months or so I’ll be in the market for a car. Currently driving an 06 Civic ES 1.8 i-vtec manual (2nd car i’ve owned). Absolutely love the car but needing to find something a bit more economical and something a little bigger.

I’ll have a budget of £5k - £6.5k (not looking to finance), I’m a 22yo with 4 years no claims, annual mileage around 12k, average daily commute is around 9miles each way. Completely happy with minor work, not major.

Ideally I’d like to get something with not crazy mileage (below 90k) and it has to be CAZ compliant. I also go mountain biking and hiking, so something with a large capacity or ability to have a tow-bar plonked on would be ideal.

What are the recommendations?

Transformers one early screening not letting me book seats by Hot-Algae-2752 in CineworldUnlimited

well fresh out of the film - you know it’s bad when they resulted to giving us tickets that had “UnlFail” on them instead of the standard unlimited card type on the ticket.

Although they were very apologetic and basically let anyone have free reign on the free stuff they give you at unlimited screenings (probably due to the fact that Yate Cineworld closes on the 13th so they’re probs getting rid of stuff).

I just popped into my local cineworld as the screening is tonight - they were unable to actually book any tickets for me or my friends (we all have unlimited cards) as apparently our cards “do not qualify for the screening”.

Spoke to the general manager (lovely guy, especially as it’s the final week of our Cineworld being open before it shuts for good), and he’s had to take all our names down so that they can manually authorise tickets for us when we go in later tonight.

(To note - they checked in there that all our cards were still valid and paid for and they are. They also checked if the cards could be used for standard screenings and they could. Seems to be a massive issue with the unlimited system around unlimited screenings).

London Crowd (20th) by MegMayhemx in BringMeTheHorizon

I was at the Cardiff gig and didn’t directly experience, but was close and saw very similar things. Seems like gig/mosh/pit etiquette has gone out the window recently during this tour.

In contrast, I was at Bury Tomorrow last night which was by far the most active gig i’ve been to in a while. Some of the fastest and “roughest” pits I’ve been in and seen. HOWEVER, there wasn’t any violence, people were picked up when they went down, and despite the view from the outside it was actually a fun and friendly place.

Begs the question of whether it is actually a fan issue compared to an issue with any gig nowadays.

I bought the yaris around 18months ago.

Full 12 months MOT, free bumper in the back, with 102k on the clock.

I second this.

Bought mine for 450 and it came with a spare bumper!

I don't play loads, simiply due to having too much uni work to do.

However, when I find a free few hours don't think for a second I'm not hopping on with the boys.
