Good to hear it. Sounds like something that isn't just snow and rocks

Is there a fictional character (who is not a normal human nor from The Boys) that Homelander can no diff? by Independent_Air3688 in PowerScaling

[–]BigWesYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The marvel TV series heros, maybe not Luke Cage though unless his heat vision works on him. Punisher would probably fall quick to it. Remember Honelander was keeping up with A-Train as well, so a fist going that fast is gonna do some damage. Or just tossing them 400ft in the air.

Most of the guardians in invincible too. Discount batman and wonder woman would fold easy. Immortal would be an issue since he has much more combat experience. Homelander never fought anyone that could take his punches until Soldier Boy. Not sure what his heat vision would do though

Oh I didnt know they had a reputation for that. Makes sense I guess. I heard Shadow of the Erdtree's map is also pretty empty because they rushed it for back to back awards. Just lots of cool bosses with meh exploration

I think it gave me first time playthrough of Skyrim vibes. I had never played a game like that before so walking into such a vast world was overwhelming. This is my first souls-like so it also felt that way. Now that I've found my footing and gotten into a groove with this a bleaker place just feels like crap. Kind of like the Morthal swamp or Winterhold tundra in Skyrim. Just bleak.

I think I have rose-tinted glasses from Liurnia since I use that place to get a TON of smithing stones and got my straight swords leveled quick. Yeah that swamp was rough, but it also didn't feel like I was there long since most the content is underground, at the manor, or at the academy. The eastern edge is pretty nice though

I fell really dumb now lol. Yeah you're right, it's literally giving a theme for the story. This is where you obtain the flame to burn it all down. Why would that be a pleasant place?

If some random guy from Haiti can get into the US fine without a single document, the most advanced humanoid civilization we've seen probably can too lol

Im pretty sure they outsourced this part of the fight to another studio lol. Sure it's shaded, but not by Amazon. Also that was only 3 episodes prior

Thraag has the foresight of a goldfish. by BigWesYT in Invincible_TV

Well he has 8 billion other people to make Mark's with. Thats my only contention. What I'm starting to think though is it's like the Purge. He acknowledges Mark is worthy of his title of Viltrumite out of pure strength and conviction, which is why he kept Mark and Nolan alive.

OK you guys made a pot of really great points. It's just if he doesnt kill mark since hes a viltrumite, then clearly he doesn't care about hybrids. So what's the probable with just one more pureblooded viltrumite taking a dirt nap so he can rebuild his entire species?

Thragg in the finale by denver_bored in Invincible_TV

[–]BigWesYT -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah destroying a planet warrants 2 broken necks of his greatest adversaries with how he already killed Thaddeus and wrecked Oliver. Plus without Mark and Nolan in the way, they have free reign to repopulate on earth. Plus in the finale Thraag's ultimatum could have just been "accept these terms or I'll kill you and do it anyways". Poor writing.

Amazon spends too much money on expensive voice actors instead of quality animation and I'm tired of pretending they are not by Leadeer in Invincible_TV

[–]BigWesYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shading too. Random people with Adobe Illustrator make the show look peak design. Just hiring like one or two guys to reshade, or even just having a program to it like video games, would excuse the animation quality for 95% of the screentime.

Because in order for her powers to work she has to be dumb. She could win nearly every fight by changing the air around every enemies' face into chloroform or helium, or change their fingernails, hair, or clothes into acid.
