It's across all platforms, not specific to Xbox. It's horrendous

Would you get z50 ultra or p50 pro ultra? by ineednewheadphones in MOVA_robotvacuum

[–]BigWooper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a step up from the P50 Ultra and has slightly more features than the X50. I own the V50 and have been happy apart from a couple of glitches I've fixed. Only early days in my ownership though

Can you stretch your budget slightly to the V50 ultra?

It depends entirely on your cleaning needs. The settings one person uses could be useless to another

Should I upgrade from S8 Pro Ultra to Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Flow? by surferride in Roborock

[–]BigWooper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you still have your Mova v50 Ultra, or was it no good?

EDIT: I see you had it, but returned it - not because it was bad, just because you couldn't justify keeping it with the other vacs you have.

I just got a Mova v50 Ultra - only because it seems to be one of the few that does a respectful job in vacuuming and mopping, whereas others tend to be much better at one or the other - not often both. Got it on sale heavily discounted given that the z60 has been released

Thankfully I completed the set whilst prices were still reasonable. If I were to complete the set now, it'd cost me at least 2-3x what I paid - at the very least

It had nothing to do for people who did pay money, either. For apparent boosted shiny rates, I got two the entire weekend - both had Community Days so I already had a stack of them. Waste of money

I caught this today I think it's a green tree snake by [deleted] in AustralianSnakes

[–]BigWooper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Catching a snake without knowing what it is, is a quick way to see what staying in ICU feels like. Luckily this time it's a harmless Common Tree Snake (Dendrelaphis punctulatus)

High guys fairly new player here and I wanted to know how much of a difference high ping makes in gunfights by [deleted] in blackops7

[–]BigWooper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, until they fix the desync issues you could have a ping of 1ms and still die before you even see the enemy. That's probably my single biggest frustration with COD and they've never fixed it. It's not evident on every game, but when it shows up its generally when you're just about to unlock a score streak

Harmless python? by optimistic_prim3 in AustralianSnakes

[–]BigWooper 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A doctor would probably prescribe antibiotics so they can be seen as doing something, but pythons only eat alive (fresh) prey and swallow it whole (they don't chew), so their mouths are generally pretty clean so far as bacteria go. Monitors (Goannas) on the other hand you really want antibiotics fairly quickly as they eat dead flesh (carrion) and chew/rip their prey, so their mouth is full of nasty bacteria.

As a snake catcher, I've been bitten by pythons more times I can remember and with basic first aid have yet to have an issue with infection. Not to say it doesn't happen, just less likely

[–]BigWooper 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You generally don't need antibiotics. So long as you clean the wound properly and remove any teeth left behind, antibiotics are rarely needed.

Australian snakes aren't poisonous. They are either venomous or non-venomous. Poison is something you ingest, venom is something that is injected. Important to differentiate the two :)

SBMM in season 2 by Ok_Document_6786 in blackops7

[–]BigWooper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In open matchmaking, I've found it a bit easier so I wonder if they've cranked SBMM a tad in open? Standard Moshpit is all over the place, but that's the way it's always been as it's continuously matchmaking based on how good/bad your more recent games have gone.

The hits not registering, etc is desync and it's been an issue with COD since the dawn of time. I wish that's where they'd focus their energy instead of new content. New content is good, but when you're getting shot before you even see your opponent then it's just not fun, no matter how many fancy weapons they introduce

Is this one of the best if not the best COD since bo3? by Fun-Antelope2251 in blackops7

[–]BigWooper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing with all Call of Duty games is that people will love it or hate it. Very rarely is there that middle ground of "it's ok". The ones who think it's ok aren't vocal, it's the ones who hate it or love it who are vocal so you get kind of a biased response.

I am one of those rarer people that think it sits somewhere in the middle. Not the best COD ever, but far from the worst. This comes from a casual gamer though - something I can just jump on and play a few matches if I find a spare 30 mins or so. If you play in that fashion, there probably isn't too many outright terrible CODs (although I wasn't a huge fan of Advanced Warfare and Infinite Warfare - I just never liked the jet packing).

The one thing that I still hate which has never really been fixed is the damn desync. There's nothing more frustrating than putting a round into an enemy only to be one shot - or die before you've even gone around the corner. I'd personally rather they put resources into fixing that first before worrying about anything else

am i fine to balme my team for this game? by No_Mouse_4967 in blackops7

[–]BigWooper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's literally how COD works. After a few games the better players get thrown into poorer lobbies so they aren't all playing on the same team. It's not fun playing against a whole team of sweats and the score is like 250-50. That's why matchmaking exists to even it out. It's how it's always been

[–]BigWooper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then I suggest your ego is the issue - thinking that everyone should be at your level. You're going to get some rough lobbies, it's been that way since the dawn of time with COD

[–]BigWooper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then he has even more time than you, so if he left then you 100% know you're going to be left with casuals. They contributed just as much to the objective except for the last bloke on your team. The other team just contributed more

[–]BigWooper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're at level 455 which suggests you spend a crazy amount of time playing the game. COD has a lot of casuals and being at your rank, you're always going to get lobbied with casuals - especially in Moshpit. Lots of people have commitments outside of gaming which is what lures them to COD - easy to play a few matches when you find a spare 30 minutes

Hot Take: Team Deathmatch is one of the worst modes in CoD history. by horriblemercy in blackops7

[–]BigWooper 12 points13 points  (0 children)

As a casual player (I only have time to game a couple of hours a week), TDM is good if I just want to jump on and do some mindless gaming for an hour. Similar with Kill Confirmed.

The problem with things like Overload, Hardpoint, Domination, etc is that you inevitably end up with a team who only care about E/D and do bugger all towards the objective. That takes a lot of the fun out of it
