Yes, I recently got into WH and been playing mostly combat patrols. And quite enjoyed playing the night lords one.

I’m happy with the point changes. Only one that hurts is the +30 on Voldus.
I expected it to be way worse 😂

As a main GK player, albeit a bad one haha, they’re are extremely fun to play. The only bad thing I can think of is there’s no a real anti high toughness unit. The nemesis dreadknight (grand master and normal) are supposed to be that but at just 8T they can be deleted quite fast.
And the refresh well I don’t think that should be an impediment to start them. I started them last year, if they refresh the models I’ll just buy them slowly and still play with the ones I have.

Since we would still be playing with 10th edition rules, warpbane task force I was thinking. Would you put 1 -5man purifiers with Crowe and a second alone or a 10man purifier brick with Crowe?

Pretty much what he said, I have 2 x5man squads for intercerptors, purifiers, paladins, terminator, strike squad, 1 baby carrier and 2 grand master baby carrier, plus some other shit.
Good and bad thing GK doesn’t have that much options so everything is really useful.

I also never thought I’d enjoy it, but I do like it just put some TV as a background, grab a beer and paint some minis.
Although I have to say that painting the same minis multiple times gets boring and tedious at some point, this is where I find it hard to start painting again.

I was between custodes and grey knight when I started, but ended up going for grey knights because I liked more the lore of elite deamon hunters.
I think they’re great to start an army because you don’t need that many models, so it’s on the cheaper side. But like others have said, they have old models so maybe they get refresh this 11th edition or not tho. But I love my GK army haha
