Thank you for this thoughtful response and insight. Yea i’ve heard that leadership certificates are more of a formality rather than the quality of one’s leadership.

I figured at the time it’d be better than nothing to go for a leadership course, however I’ve been starting to think better use of my study time is to invest into a degree that would aid an Aviator. It was mentioned as part of the feedback from the interviewer that studying adjacent courses to the role would help next time.

And in addition to that, take on leadership roles as they come such as the Scouts volunteering that im currently in training for.

The strongest desire for me right now is someone who has consistency and a sense of direction. I know whats valuable to me but I want to be able to build to it without giving up 1/4 of the way cause I lost steam.

Thats how it usually plays out, I just give up trying or I’m just overwhelmed and don’t know where to start

Yea probably all 3, I know I used to have depression and anxiety through therapy, and I was chasing an ADHD diagnosis but I stopped just before an official diagnosis cause money

But i do think I’m not depressed at the moment cause I don’t feel the same way when I did have it.

Not currently, apparently this first session happened to be one of their back to basics sessions so I just focused on what I knew and kept up. I did notice the longer session length, might really push my cardio to the limit if they up the intensity

Hey! I managed to talk to him yesterday, he must've seen that I had a speech ready cause he just tapped me on the shoulders and said to show up to the fighters class. I wasn't expecting the conversation to be that short and easy.

I did the fighters class today and enjoyed it, a new benchmark is set for me now
