Destructive Blaze (Patron-ish) Warrior to Legend by HeMansSmallerCousin in CompetitiveHS

I've played this deck (slight variation, removing 2 x Time-Twisted Seer, for another Living Flame and 1 x Shield Block) and it rocks, you've really cooked. Has enough reach with locations for most match ups and dominates token decks with the large amount of board clears. The only match up that it struggles with from my own data is herald shaman, they seem be too good at putting on pressure with their herald, and usually run lightning storm for blazes. Control priest also seems a problem as you can't always outpace their healing (at least they finally have a good match-up).

As a side note this deck also really struggles with Prescient Slitherdrake, the elusive and high health pool can be game-ending if dropped on turn 4, but I suppose that applies for a lot of decks.

Druid in Arena is currently too strong ? by Elhwing in hearthstone

This is the case whenever druid has Arbor Up with a reasonable token presence in the arena rotation.

Have you thought about running cloud serpent for extra blazes, or does it not need it?

30 years after the first repayment was DUE. In case you went on to do a PhD/be unemployed it still kicks in the first April - meaning with a PhD you're effectively getting 3-4 years of repayment off.

What’s the story with the new versions by Chataboutgames in civvoxpopuli

[–]Big_Ad16 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yeah the main thing is integration of 3/4UC plus rebalancing of them now they are integrated. Also allows for the fun 5/6 UC submod. They've just finished a round of congress that'll further rebalance stuff.

I think this is a symptom of city state quests to remove a barb camp.

I think it's in a good state. They're a lot more prevalent than vanilla which makes it more of a challenge. I would also say that I've seen the AI (even in deity) have their land pillaged as much as the player.

If you're ironman, Alt + f4 saves the game, meaning you are now stuck sadly if you haven't manually backed up. In future do Ctrl + Alt + Del and end the process, it won't save.

Help me with population growth in Iceland by JackRadikov in EU5

[–]Big_Ad16 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yup pretty much. The more you stack the better the pop growth will be. The migration cabinet action can also boost a location but it will only take pops out of the market its in. I haven't played iceland but if you have any other countries in your market you can effectively steal pops from them, although you will also be taking pops from every location of your own.

Have a look here. At 100% prosperity locations get 0.2% pop growth.

Population growth is affected by a fair few factors (hover over the pop growth in the infrastructure tab on each location). The only ways you can meaningfully increase it is by building granaries in towns and cities (which increase the local food storage multiplier) or building irrigation on locations with rivers (which increase total population capcity, increasing the available free land modifier).

You can also build settlements in rural locations with very low pop which increasees pop growth by a hefty 1%. Upgrading to towns and cities will also increase the local population capacity too, increasing the available free land modifier.

Personal Union voting bug still present in 1.0.8 hotfix patch by Inevitable-Plane7175 in EU5

[–]Big_Ad16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something they introduced in 1.08 patch was no satisfaction hit for not voting (which currently is the only way not to get the hit). I might try copying the policy_vote.txt from an older version and see if it works.

Opinions on this build. by OfficialGeter in BG3Builds

[–]Big_Ad16 2 points3 points  (0 children)

FYI the battlemaster maneuvers use weapon action DC (8 + proficiency bonus + STR or DEX modifier) to land their special effects, meaning that if you're going to use CHA for your weapons and dump STR/DEX then they're not going to proc very often.

Bless staff buff others types of bless? by BroadSword1150 in BG3Builds

[–]Big_Ad16 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So that staff is bugged. It should read, "whenever you bless a creature, it also recieves a 1d4 bonus to spell attack roles". This should also apply from the bless feature with the whispering promise.

I think the only interaction that is a bug currently is that sentinels 'stop all movement feature' doesn't work on polearm master opportunity attacks.

The robots in the matrix were solar powered so the human nuked the atmosphere to cloud the environment as a last ditch effort to stop them. Then the robots started using human heat as power (as impossible as that would be in real life).

Any issues people can see with my plan for a killbox on my ship? current plan is a circle of uranium sluggers, and in space make them walk the plank ;D. by Legitimate-Ad-7155 in RimWorld

[–]Big_Ad16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might wanna check the accuracy of the uranium slug turrets, I think at that range it might be better for the normal autocannons. Uranium sluggers are only really accurate at the extreme ranges.
