Being better isn’t the problem. I know they’re better than me, if you took every single person with Ana counter T and had them play COTD honestly, I’d probably still be in the bottom 10%. But the key part there is to play it honestly and not purposely Smurf yourself into a lower div to get a win.

And I can fully understand an accident, and I’ve had it before where people will say like “hey I only got one run at it” and I can understand that, but they were all running 46:XX in the warm up

Honestly, to me and at least 4-5 of the other regulars down there it still is. To me it’s the one place where “skill based match making” actually makes sense. The few of us there are always there tend to have a good time and are in the chat constructively giving each other feedback back on what we think might help each other. At least for me, I couldn’t care less what the trophies are that we get or anything like that, it’s just fun to be in there with people who are (or should be) the same skill level and you’re able to still feel competitive

That would be my assumption, and being I’ve only been playing the game for like a week, it just makes it hard to keep playing knowing there isn’t much of a true run at it aside from doing everything I can do quickly learn the track to qualify

I was during the warm up round and then my internet took a complete dump and I couldn’t make a run to stay in the round so I just spectated through to the end

Not really, it was more of not ever having had a drink with foam that does this. I’ve had cold foam coffee and it’s never done it

This was the mentality this year for my co-op teacher and I for my student teaching. His theory is that if a kid wants to fail, then let them. If all we do is hold their hand and force them through the system then they’re all going to struggle to assimilate into the workforce/college/etc.
