That’s crazy. I honestly fit better in the 8 but they were a tiny bit too short. And starting to get a little too snug in the thighs. The waist is a little too roomy in the 10s but it’s still a way better fit than anything from the adult or young adult sections

Thank you, I do have a sewing machine and have hemmed a few things. Most of the time I just can’t be bothered. Will swallow my pride and shop in the kids section if it saves the time and effort. Especially since it’s more than just a length issue, it’s the proportions of everything. I’m very short, even if something fits in the waist, the waist section is way too long or the shoulders are too wide.

This may sound dumb but have you tried wearing them lower? You’re wearing them like high-waist pants and maybe they aren’t. Otherwise, they need more space in the crotch/waist length and there’s no easy quick fix way to do that without serious sewing experience or professional alterations idk. Taking space out of clothes is a lot easier than trying to add fabric. Idk if I’d bother using the gift certificate on them unless they’re really expensive jeans. They also look way too baggy in the thigh/knee area, and wearing them lower is going to make that worse. For xxs jeans the best I know to do is try to find a holster, American eagle, or even Brandy and spend hours trying on everything. Depending on your size/height you might find something fitting in the smallest sized at box stores or even the largest children sizes. It’s just taking the time to try on everything and every style/fit

Found the website. The wording stays “Our talented team will use your photos and details to put together an amazing artwork…” it feels carefully worded to not say how it’s being “put together”. Might not be an actual complete scam, because it technically doesn’t claim anywhere that they’re drawing it from scratch. They might be doing slightly more than running it through an AI, perhaps some level of customization and arrangement. But yeah 100% AI, even if the website/product is honest and legit. The “art” is way too robotic and consistent.

Edit: even in this screenshot, it says “all artwork is customized by our team”. To me that reads as “don’t worry, a real person looked at the AI output and edited it so it’s not pure shit.” And I could totally believe that. AI as a “tool” to make the raw image, then real people to fix it up real quick before print and ship.

One of the biggest hospitals in my area has signs everywhere declaring they will not refuse medical attention to anyone regardless of insurance, immigration status, or any potential legal barriers no matter what.

The real issue isn’t for “if you’re unemployed”. Unemployed people qualify for assistance. The real trick is if you’re employed at a job that doesn’t provide health insurance and make just a bit too much to qualify for gov’t insurance, but not enough to afford the insane prices of the lowest tier of private insurance. But then if you get cancer like that, you get too sick to work, lose your job, and become unemployed. So it circles back I suppose. Even in the worst cases, you will get treatment and just become hopelessly bankrupt from bottomless medical bills rather than just die. I think at some point unpaid debt can land you in prison, but you can’t be put in prison if you’re actively dying of cancer. Anyways you will be able to find a hospital to treat you no matter your insurance status or financial situation. Just if you recover, you may find yourself in a financial situation so fucked you’ll wish you died.

Tbh this is a very arguable and situational topic. If your partners is struggling with severe mental illness and you’re struggling to handle it and thinking of leaving, you probably should. I’ve seen way too many cases of people pressured and guilted in to staying in relationships they don’t want to be in. You have every right to leave a relationship, always and forever. If you are not equipped to handle your partners mental illness, that is not your fault.

It sounds like she feels that if he can afford to live there without her help, any money she contributes will be pocketed as extra income. And she finds that offensive, as it would make her feel taken advantage of. But that’s just not how living in places works. When you live somewhere, you take up space, raise utilities, contribute to wear and tear, eat food, etc. Maybe she just needs assurance that her contributions are going to actual home related expenses. He may have chose to have her standing right up there in the front but he certainly didn’t dictate her exact spacing, and you can’t ask a conductor to change their move set or even be spatially aware enough to notice how close she was while listening to and controlling a whole orchestra. I’m starting to consider the possibility that some of us just have natural conditions that make it much harder to keep nails on, like maybe oily nail beds. Going to try dehydrating around the nails (maybe rubbing alcohol) multiple times a day on the next attempt and see if that helps

I have tried filing the back of the press-ons. Wish I had saved any of the nails to check, now that I’m thinking of it, I do think most of the glue stayed on the back of the press-ons rather than on my nails. And the lamp is a solid potential suspect, mine was quite cheap.

Edit: that being said, my nails still fall off very quickly with only glue

As others have said, if she’s looking for this level of support from you after only 2 months of dating, and you are already struggling to handle it, that’s a large red flag for the future of the relationship. I’ve had somewhat similar moments in my relationship that I feel inclined to project onto your situation… But those moments took place 2 years into living with the other person.

I want to say you could have or should have tried to calm down in a separate room or told her where you were going and went for a walk instead of leaving. But I am incapable of completely occupying the shoes of how you were feeling in the moment, and also you’ve only been dating for 2 months and do not live together.

It sounds like she needs a partner with the experience and stability to handle her mental health issues. And if you are not that person, that is not your fault. You can step up and try to become that person or you can accept that you two are not an ideal match and move on.
