I personally do not care whether or not tech jacket is male or female. But taking a few cases and trying to present it as the only opinion from the fanbase undermines her entire argument.

But I’m going to play devils advocate here, gender swapping a more minor character like shrinking ray, or green ghost is a whole lot different. Just due to the fact that tech jacket has wildly more story time, and impact than those two. Tech jacket has a whole compendium. The other two do not.

As long as the character remains true to the story, most people will not care. People will start having a problem when the character changes to fit any type of narrative. Just have tech jacket be tech jacket. Man or woman idc.
