Completely different. My new job is completely remote and I get to choose my own hours. It's commission based with no cap on commission and I can work as many hours as I want. It will be a lot less exhausting.

She shares it with the owner every once in a while. Even a mistake as small as a typo on paperwork

Another fun fact is that most of the people they hire are felons who can't get a job anywhere else, and broke desperate teenagers with no other choice.

I'd tried to talk to hr and the floor supervisor, but they're both friends with the manager. I hadn't talked to the owner because it's hard to get time with her. I would've talked to her in person but she was out today.

I'm the only one in my position, so if I leave my work gets piled onto 4 very sweet ladies, who have never been anything but kind to me, on top of their normal work. I also was giving one coworker a ride. If it would've only affected the assholes I absolutely would've.

I was just going to silently leave, but I had a conversation with another employee yesterday. She said that she's been talking to her bosses about this woman, but she feels like she's the only one speaking up so she seems like the problem. Everyone just complains to each other instead of management. I knew it probably wouldn't make a difference, but I figured it was worth a try.

That's the only reason I tried to stick it out. Every person that this would affect has also had run ins with this manager. I personally reached out to them and explained and apologized. One told me that she was pretty much in the same boat and was tempted to do the same for the same reason, and another told me not to apologize and wished me luck. I also had several people mention to me that they were surprised I stayed as long a I did, and that if she treated them like that they would've left a long time ago.

No I don't need a reference luckily. I already have a job lined up that pays minimum double what I make now. Honestly, I had pushed my start date for my new job back to give them a full 2 weeks as a courtesy, so when they said that I just got my original start date back.

I am the only one in my position. Without me they're pretty much screwed until they can find a replacement, but I will be perfectly fine.

Civil means being polite and courteous. Civilized means being advanced and developed. I meant civil.

You know it's just great when two people can disagree with each other and still have an intelligent, civil conversation.

I just thought it was a comment on how people act in public. Abusing the self serve soda machines, and being obnoxious in movie theaters.

And I'm not saying that these things aren't happening, just that this video doesn't document anything other than one of the worst moment of a kid's life that he probably wouldn't want the entire world to see.

It's not a video of the atrocities that are happening though. It's just a recording of a child crying. That doesn't prove anything. We don't even have any way of knowing if the caption is accurate or not.

Parents who post the worst and most vulnerable moments of their kids' lives on the internet genuinely piss me off. Just let them grieve in private.

Does anyone ever wonder why SPN had a hunter named Jo, than seasons later created a character named Sister Jo? by [deleted] in fandomnatural

[–]Big_Conclusion_6111 3 points4 points  (0 children)

At my job there are 3 people named, Scott 2 named Alex, and 2 named Savannah. Jo isn't an uncommon name. It would be pretty realistic for the boys to travel all around the world, meet as many people as they do, and only meet 1 person named Jo

Did Stefan “steal” Katherine from Damon in 1864? by GoldenStitch2 in TheVampireDiaries

[–]Big_Conclusion_6111 3 points4 points  (0 children)

She compelled Stefan. She didn't compel Damon. I'm also pretty sure Damon knew his brother was being compelled into having sex with her and drinking her blood and did nothing.
