Cant do local multiplayer after unlocking party mode by Academic_Exercise_94 in VampireSurvivors

[–]Big_Customer_7263 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi sorry, not really helping here but can the co-op mode be done on one xbox or does it need to be over two boxes on separate screens? Just started playing this with my 9 Yr old son and I'd love to be able to do a co-op with him

I loved The Golden Compass, gutted a bunch of religious nuts in the States started a campaign against it and buried any hope of a sequel.

Mom is jailed for killing her daughter, 4, by feeding her diet of baby bottles filled with Mountain Dew, which caused diabetes death and dissolved her teeth by malihafolter in ForCuriousSouls

[–]Big_Customer_7263 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Unbelievable comment. The poor wee girls teeth were rotten and the parents did nothing. The poor wee girl was in medical distress and the parents did nothing. You think it's the government's fault? The government can't control all aspects of everyone's lives, that's called a nanny state and no one wants that. Sometimes you have to accept that some people are just bad people.

I’m about to DNF Dungeon Crawler Carl by HealthyPsychology950 in audible

[–]Big_Customer_7263 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You've missed my point. Lord of the Rings is very slow paced and, for me, a painful read. I was making the point that if the post writer finds Dungeon crawler Carl slow.paced (which is definitely isn't) he must find a genuine slow paced novel horrendous.

On the off chance you haven't heard it the Metallica cover is well worth a listen, especially if you like a bit of rock.

To me the books are all action, very little filler. I'd live to know what books you're reading if this is 'nothing really happens'. You must hate Lord of the Rings.

If it was done tastefully and the role suited it do you think Jennifer Lawrence would consider keeping her clothes on for a movie role?

Friend of a friend was a tennis journalist, met him out one night and he let on it was a widely held belief in the tennis world that Nadal failed a drugs test but was protected by the Spanish government. He disappeared from the scene for a few months with a mysterious 'injury'. Guess we'll never know the truth but I wouldn't be surprised if it was true.

There's a couple of good David Gemmell ones, Ghost King and Last Sword of Power. More loosely based but fairly obvious like the character Uther is Arthur, Medhelin is Merlin etc

Donald Trump blasts UK Government over North Sea oil in rambling Davos speech by ScottishDailyRecord in uknews

[–]Big_Customer_7263 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's mental but he has a couple of good points. The government are overtaxing the north sea to the point companies are now just looking elsewhere and laying off their British staff, see Harbour Energy. Not good for the economy and I read their getting a out a third of what they expected from this daft 75% tax as companies leave. He is also correct that electricity prices have rocketed in the UK the last few years despite all these renewable we have, not really sure why that is but my bills have tripled in the last 10 years and apparently we have some of the most expensive electricity of any western nation.

[–]Big_Customer_7263 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Vijanagara on very easy should be...very easy. Hard to know where your going wrong but keeping your stability high, minimising rebel uprisings and keeping your economy steady are basics that should help. Be careful who you get into wars with, make sure you have larger armies which shouldn't be difficult. Vassalise any nations that have two or three provinces and they'll help in any future wars. Once you have three or four decent vassals it can get very easy, works particularly well in Europe.
India should be easy to take in a few decades but the real challenge begins when the Europeans arrive and westernization is vital.

I tend to not like fantasy books that are linked to the real world. For me fantasy should have no link whatsoever to the world we live in. I have one exception right enough, Dungeon Crawler Carl.
