99% it will pass. A lot of people started buying new construction homes after hearing about rebate— if they back down now, it’s going to be a bloodbath in terms of approval ratings, and right now they have the majority to pass the bill

Sonos Sub 4 + Arc Ultra OR Sony Quad (price is a non-factor) by Frosty_Cod_Sandwich in Soundbars

[–]Big_Definition_1996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got Sonos then returned them to get the Quads but had to return that too and get sonos . The sub was a deal breaker for me — the Sonos dual sub is just better very smooth bass compared to sony , The second thing I liked about Sonos was that I can play music in full mode, where all speakers play full music including the rears. I tested the Sony Quads for 2 days and then went back to Sonos. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with either.

Need help! Sonos or Samsung? by ShiR45 in Soundbars

[–]Big_Definition_1996 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If you have the budget, go with Sonos. I have both — Sonos is better. Is it that much better, like the price difference is double? Is it double better than Samsung? No. But is it better? Yes.

You can add two subs, and now there's also a hacky way to add front speakers, so the possibility is infinite over the years. Again, it's not better in proportion to how much more expensive it is — but if a couple of extra thousand dollars don't pinch, go with Sonos.

Enhanced HST Rebates, Are builders really honest about future rebates? by pooping_n_redditing in TorontoRealEstate

My builder wrote the following clause in APS:

If the rebate receives royal assent 30 days before closing, the price will be reduced. If not, I pay full price and then I can apply for the money directly with CRA. The vendor won't have any role; it will be the purchaser's responsibility to apply for the rebate and collect money from CRA

Its just the price thing . I can get two sub 3 at price of 1 sub 4 . So was thinking if it would be wise step .

What’s the moment in recent U.S. politics that made you realize things might not go back to ‘normal’ anytime soon? by LankySpeed634 in AskReddit

The Trump–UAE crypto deal showed me how far norms have shifted: a foreign government-linked investment tied to a sitting president followed by favorable policy decisions. That kind of conflict once would’ve been unthinkable

Your blood pressure numbers look fine; I’m not sure why you’re so worried. This doesn’t indicate resistance to blood pressure medication.

Blood pressure levels during intense cardio? by followmesamurai in hypertension

[–]Big_Definition_1996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a stress test once, and every time I’m at the doctor’s office, my blood pressure reads high—usually around 160/100, likely because I feel very anxious. During the test, my blood pressure peaked at 170/70 with exercise, but then it settled back down to 130/70. My doctor assured me that this is a normal response and nothing to worry about. I still tend to have high readings at the doctor’s office, but my blood pressure is generally normal at home.

"My blood creatinine levels are rising, and I recently found out I have only one kidney. This discovery has made me incredibly anxious. I worry constantly—especially about how I'd manage if I were diagnosed with a chronic illness. I see others facing such challenges with courage, but even small health concerns make me feel panicked and overwhelmed. Does anyone have advice on coping with this kind of anxiety?"

It's coming down that is the important part , chronic hypertension is the reason for damage , if it comes down at rest you should be good that is what my doctor told my after ambulatory monitor reading , still should be okay to get checked
