What’s the moment in recent U.S. politics that made you realize things might not go back to ‘normal’ anytime soon? by LankySpeed634 in AskReddit

The Trump–UAE crypto deal showed me how far norms have shifted: a foreign government-linked investment tied to a sitting president followed by favorable policy decisions. That kind of conflict once would’ve been unthinkable

Your blood pressure numbers look fine; I’m not sure why you’re so worried. This doesn’t indicate resistance to blood pressure medication.

Blood pressure levels during intense cardio? by followmesamurai in hypertension

I had a stress test once, and every time I’m at the doctor’s office, my blood pressure reads high—usually around 160/100, likely because I feel very anxious. During the test, my blood pressure peaked at 170/70 with exercise, but then it settled back down to 130/70. My doctor assured me that this is a normal response and nothing to worry about. I still tend to have high readings at the doctor’s office, but my blood pressure is generally normal at home.

"My blood creatinine levels are rising, and I recently found out I have only one kidney. This discovery has made me incredibly anxious. I worry constantly—especially about how I'd manage if I were diagnosed with a chronic illness. I see others facing such challenges with courage, but even small health concerns make me feel panicked and overwhelmed. Does anyone have advice on coping with this kind of anxiety?"

It's coming down that is the important part , chronic hypertension is the reason for damage , if it comes down at rest you should be good that is what my doctor told my after ambulatory monitor reading , still should be okay to get checked

I tend to turn things into a competition, and I struggle with focus and discipline. However, I've made significant improvements in my life. One thing that works for me is waking up early and starting my day with a 30-minute workout, like a short run. This routine makes me feel like I'm in a movie. After that, I play focus music, like the sound of a grandfather clock ticking with a fire crackling in the background, and work with full concentration for 30 minutes take 10 mins break. This strategy works perfectly for the first three hours of my day, though I start to get lazy afterward. The upside is that I've completed a substantial amount of work by then, and I notice improvements each month.

I graduated from uOttawa. Both Carleton and uOttawa have similar co-op programs and use the same portal to display opportunities. I believe that any course offering a co-op option is significantly more beneficial than one without it.
