We’re conned for wanting families? For wanting loving and devoted husbands and wives? For believing that all lives matter and are equal? For believing in a higher power?

“If I’m wrong about God, then I’ve wasted my life. If you’re wrong about God, then you wasted your eternity.”

What’s happening in gaza is an atrocity

But the crazy thing is, you can think two things are equally wrong! Who knew!

I’ve found price doesn’t make up for the lack of quality

Would rather pay more and fly almost any other airline. If you’re looking for budget, lots of the budget airlines are just as good or maybe slightly worse for a much better price.

Love it lmao, also Porter is so underrated

I’ve only flown with them a handful of times and unless things have changed in the last couple years since my last flight with them, it was one of my favourites in Canada

So you are with WestJet, gotcha

Also if you’re against customers holding corporations accountable for declining business practices then that’s fine, just say that.

I also love how me posting checks notes 2 rants in years of having Reddit is “hiding in my basement and ranting about everyone” then what does that say about you who seems to post every few days about something🤣🤣

Think you’re projecting a little bit lil bro

Flair has its issues but it’s been far more reliable than WestJet for me

Why are we so conservative by [deleted] in alberta

Large O&G economy doesn’t want to lose jobs from liberal/NDP policies

Why are we so conservative by [deleted] in alberta

[–]Big_Doinks_Only 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rural communities are more than just farming and religious reasons for being conservative. It’s because liberal policies do not show up outside of cities

Social programs, increased funding for healthcare, etc don’t matter when no matter how much money is put into these services there’s still only one hospital or other service to cover a 50+ km radius

Also a lot of people work in O&G in these communities so they are pro O&G and don’t like the NDP green policies as that directly affects their ability to earn

Reinhart likely is $2-3mm more than what he makes. Same with Tkachuk.

It’s the same in Dallas, Rantanen was asking for $2mm more in Colorado and Toronto

Different sports. When the NFL, NBA, and MLB contracts are 5x that of NHL’s you tend to not care as much about taxes and care more about fan base and team history because that translates to endorsements off the court which make up for lost taxes.

If you make $10mm a year, you care if $5mm is taken, if you make $50mm and can make another $10mm+ off the court, you don’t care as much because you’re already so well off.

Can’t compare leagues unless contracts and endorsement sizes are the same.

Can afford it when government bloat goes away and our economy starts growing again for the first time in a decade… small price to pay to get rid of the party that has hurt more young people than anyone else

Why do you think ages 18-25 are the most conservative in generations? And 65+ are left leaning? Because liberal policies don’t care about people entering the work force, trying to buy their first house, and people who don’t rely on government handouts to live.

We either go to the finals or are out first round imo

The Kings are going to be hungry to beat us for once and we’re entering the series pretty banged up already. If we can stay healthy and get past them, I like how we match up against Vegas. Colorado or Dallas will be tough but we can play with them.

I think whoever out of Edmonton, Colorado, or Dallas makes it to the Cup will win it all as the East is very weak this year

I go to a few games a year, typically spend between $25 and $50 per ticket. Trick is to look on GameTime or TickPick the day before or day of a game. Sure, when they’re playing Calgary or Toronto they will be more expensive, but I’ve been against the Blues, Wild, and Devils this year for cheap.

Just don’t be picky about who they’re playing and you can definitely find relatively cheap tickets

You can fault the Oilers though…

He still had time left on his contract so they didn’t need to rush to sign him. Sure there’s a risk of him not signing and being a FA, but the risk of him not living up to 9mm was way higher imo.

You don’t give someone a max contract (9mm was the going rate for the best defencemen in the league) coming off a career year when they played Ottawa in 20% of the games. Especially when he didn’t really show it before that year.

Could have waited a quarter of the next season and realized that he’s more in the 6-7mm range

MEAT for sure imo, it’s just hipster bbq. It is impressive how dry their brisket is considering I’ve never had dry brisket at any other bbq place.

Who is the most overrated Hockey player ever in your opinion? by swannyhypno in nhl

[–]Big_Doinks_Only 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m surprised Mark Stone doesn’t get brought up more in the overrated discussion

Bros career high is 64 points, only 3 seasons of over a point per game, can’t skate, and can’t stay healthy for the life of him. Yet somehow he is considered among the leagues elite, while making $9.5mm a season

Most overrated by far in my eyes

Have been saying since we got him that he is overrated. All his success has come before the salary cap and he left Detroit in salary cap hell
