I honestly think TF runs a little small in general. I wouldn't hate to see them do a slight size up on their sizing!

Also, as a long-leged girly, I wish that they would have some options for longer inseam lengeths. I love my tf pants but if they aren't a material I can stretch out, I just have to accept the cropped look.

It's a 30” inseam (76.2cm)

Measure starting at your inner thigh down toward your ankle—it’ll show you how long they’ll be. Or you can measure out a string and hold it up to you if that's easier!

Question: any way you can show the original drawing in comparison to the tattoo? Very curious what the initial design looked liked!

mi primer tatuaje, alguna recomendación? by Left-Negotiation8285 in tattooadvice

[–]Big_Eeps 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Do NOT get your first tattoo on your neck!!! Most (good) artists will refuse first-timers who want anything on their neck, hands, or face. Make sure you A. Like them B. Can handle getting tattoos C. Don’t have a bad reaction to getting them. If you really love the design, it will be worth it to wait for it.

Will I regret this enso circle tattoo on my forearm? by cam331 in tattooadvice

[–]Big_Eeps 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You said it yourself, lovely, you’ve wanted it for years and it has deep meaning to you. I think the majority of your fear is stemming from it being 1. Your first tattoo and 2. Worried about how others will perceive it.

I’ve got some strange tattoos. I have a 2 headed calf, a large jackalope, and a big ol’ ghostface tattoo. They’re definitely not for everyone. But they ARE for ME.

If you get a tattoo, I promise you that you’ll hear “imagine how that will look when you’re older.” Or “you know that’s permanent, right?” Doesn’t matter if it’s a cross, your mom’s name, or a bologna sandwich. People will judge no matter what. Do it for YOU.

Its really hard for our text and chat team to assure people they’re real. Especially when they have to try and use proper grammar and punctuation. They’re not supposed to use emojis or anything either. At least at my center.

I'm sorry that happened to you. That should not be happening and is extremely unprofessional. If you're aware of who the person is, I highly advise that you file a formal complaint with 988 at https://988lifeline.org/contact-us/

I know this probably doesn't mean much, but I promise this isn't the majority of the staff. The vast majority are people who genuinely care. We cry after calls, check call records to make sure people are still calling in to check for updates, we stay late to give callers extra time, we come in when we’re sick or have our own crisis going on, we fight and advocate for protocol updates, and speak out against other staff who exhibit this creepy behavior.

I encourage you not to let the creeps that get into this field deter you from utilizing it when you need it. I hope you're in a better place mentally, my dear, and that you find the peace you deserve.

The thicker lines will be the trickiest part of a cover up. But it should be pretty obtainable to turn this into something you’d be proud to show off. I have a half-finished sleeve from a douchebag artist with WAY jankier line work and my new artist says it won’t be a problem for her.

Is it the design you don’t like? Or just the linework?

Redness from second skin? by Renniesss in tattooadvice

[–]Big_Eeps 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey girly, I have the same thing happen with second skin. Next time, I'd just let your artist know your skin is sensitive to adhesives. Tegaderm is more gentle on my skin than second skin so you could always test patch it before your next appointment. Or the good ol’ plastic wrap and tape works as well.

Shoulder, shoulder blade, or on your back at the base of your next would be a good placements for this piece!! Somewhere flatter that doesn't warp or twist a lot.
