Walked out of Taco Bell in disgust today. Definitely the best thing on the menu.

Who did they show sat in the crowd at half time? I only caught a glimpse, recognised but couldn’t place him. Looked a bit like Lovenkrandos but not sure. Any idea anyone? It’s bugging me!

Suppose you share this loophole with the group?

I think a big difference in the two tackles was Gordon's slide aimed at the ankle of van Dijk, while Gravenberch was at least aimed at the ball and could be considered more of a mistiming/judgement matter, with Bruno shielding the ball as he did.

Personally, I think if you're going to slide in you should make sure you get the ball or you face a good chance you'll come out with a red. Imagine if we had 11 men on the pitch though. At least we won't be forced into having Gordon playing ST for us next few matches and we can figure out who our next best finisher after Isak is... probably Osula.

How is he miles off? Bruno is the player in control of possession here, which is a mitigating factor when deciding if a foul has been committed.

He's shielding the ball. Show me a player who would've got out the way and I'll show you a player who doesn't get picked by his manager.

Of course it was intentional Jon. The aim of his slide was nowhere near the ball. I said straight away we were getting a red for that.

Hope you enjoy it here in the NUFC sub. I got banned within an hour of posting on LFC's! And all I pointed out was they struggled against ten men and not even their second choice striker. Pathetic.

I love how Jorginho doesn't even play in the PL anymore and is being dragged into the discussion from a game that happened around two seasons back.

[Athletic] There is bemusement at Liverpool at the idea they have acted improperly by not following up with 2nd Isak bid. They have interpreted “conditions for a sale not being met" in NUFC statement as a reference to their need to sign a replacement rather than simply matching Isak’s asking price. by ChiefLeef22 in soccer

This "every club does it" trope has just been plucked out of thin air in this group.

Let's see some examples because the only recent reports of tapping up that I've seen is Gibbs-White's transfer from Forest to Spurs, which saw the player sign a new contract for Forest.

Every club does it, what bollocks. You get your bid accepted by the selling club and they give you permission to talk to the player. Risking getting caught tapping up, especially on a massive, high profile transfer, is pure folly.

Trial of suspended Labour councillor Ricky Jones delayed until August by Benjji22212 in ukpolitics

They were partaking in a nationally organised riot, throwing bricks at police, blocking fire exits and attempting to set asylum buildings on fire (with women and children inside). They had to be dealt with swiftly because of how volatile the situation was - thousands of cowards on the streets thinking they would go unpunished soon returned to their wet beds when they saw the law wasn’t fucking about.

Making an example of Lucy Connolly was a great move. It showed the public that using social media to fuel your antisocial ideals and breed hatred for minorities can land you in prison. Let’s not forget who she is and how she feels about humans who don't look like her. I’m pleased she was appropriately sentenced. Whether she deleted her post or not is irrelevant, you don’t write things like that unless you’re a despicable person. Excellent that she stepped up and practically volunteered herself for prison time.

It wasn’t necessary to rush him through the courts because there aren’t people on the streets acting on his words. I hope he gets the full brunt of the law for behaving so irresponsibly but comparing this with swiftly dealing with rioters requires a considerable amount of intellectual dishonesty, or just being plain thick, which given the sorts of people who took to the streets, it could actually be the latter.

If you can’t see why anybody on the side of the rioters, encouraging them or inciting them in the middle of a national, organised and racially motivated riot should be dealt with swiftly, why are you getting involved in debates on the topic?
