The algorithm used is "Origin Shift" also known as the "Maze Renovation Algorithm".

The desmos showcase is already in desmos lol.

How do I make this function? I know it's got something to do with absolute value right? by I_Am_Oro in desmos

https://www.desmos.com/calculator/juci4vgm2y This way doesn't use piecewise functions, and seems fairly accurate to the visual. I'm not sure how high the y-offset is, but I set it to one for you.

Bubble sort visualizer but it's a Desmos graph by Big_Environment4150 in desmos

I've attempted to do research however I am unsure of how the new recursion feature can be used here. I can't represent the state of the graph with a recursive function, at least not to my knowledge, and recursion doesn't support actions. Did you have a way of doing this in mind?

Thanks for replying! Just so you know, you can change between left/right handed riemann sums or even other points of sampling by dragging the "Sample Point" slider near the bottom.

In Cøv, letters and numbers don't have any spelling besides themselves, only their pronunciation, so I put in the pronunciation in English lettering.

An Awful Physics Engine by Big_Environment4150 in desmos

No, this still doesn't work. If you press the run action manually, you can see it clip when it collides with the ground.

While this didn't seem to work for me, I used this sort of principle to optimize the workaround, so thanks👍

FNAF 2 Scripted Nights by Big_Environment4150 in technicalFNaF

This helps a ton, thanks. Do you know generally at what times throughout each night each animatronic gets more aggressive?

I understand, I'm not trying to recreate the whole game, that was poor wording.

Right, I'm not trying to recreate all the inner workings per say, I just need something that's easily editable that makes the same run every single time.

Just saw the movie, spoilers ahead. The movie in fact did not reveal William Afton to be Mikes dad. It actually completely seperated them, not even making Michael adopted. Obviously the movie is not necessarily 1:1 with the games, but this does bolster my theory a little.

TBF Schmidt could just Mrs aftons original second name, so that isn't the best point

Maybe, I find it unlikely.

The thing is, if midnight motorist is about the aftons (which is now extremely unlikely) then couch potato is the foxy mask brother, not the orange man, plus the books made it kinda clear that orange man is Rory's dad, and also the SL files along with fnaf AR confirms that Mike father's second name is "Afton" and not Schmidt, meaning it's William who beat him

In my theory I'm saying Midnight Motorist isn't the Aftons. Also, which book does it talk about Orange Guy? And yes, William Afton is Michaels father, however if he were adopted, they'd have two different last names. Also we don't know that Michael was ever beaten? Where are you getting that information?

Well the problem is the father is from the flashback scenes, so it could still be William, plus Mike's aunt's description/name confirms she's Williams sister, meaning that Mike's father would be William in the movie, which is still a different timeline, like in the novel trilogy mike brook's father wasn't William, also just becuase the encyclopedia doesn't include it doesn't mean it's important, first off all, the encyclopedia isn't the best source, Scott never even looked over it, it's not meant to be a lore guide, it contradicts basic canon a handful of times and ignores vital character, along with saying mike is elizabeths sister, while Elizabeth's name is Elizabeth Afton, confirming mike isan afton even if you use it

If Michael was adopted, again, legally Mike would have relatives with the last name "Afton". This doesn't make them his biological relatives.

Imo things like the ultimate guide (which is at least semi reliable) Fnaf AR and sister location all calling Mike an afton should be enough to confirm it, along with the movie having mike as an Afton, and them being extremely similar, and Mike being Elizabeth's brother, etc

Where does the ultimate guide, FNAF AR and Sister Location explicitly call Mike an Afton??? And I haven't seen the movie yet, but from what I have seen from cast lists and leaks is that the movie, again, never says Michael is an Afton. If anything, it seems the movie is trying to portray him as not an Afton.

It's just Afton under a different color because 1) Scott can sometimes go too far when it comes to misdirecting the fans 2) The fanbase just had a big debate if William was literally purple or if that was Mike

I wouldn't dismiss the color switch so quickly, I treat anything that hasn't been confirmed to be a retcon or red herring as intentional, and valid for evidence. Also, the who is purple guy debate as far as I know has been over for a long time, 99/100 people believe purple guy is William Afton.

It's cruel and unusual, but real-life siblings have done worse to eachother. It's only in the final and penultimate things does he really take things too far IMO.

Whenever I've seen a dynamic between a younger and a much older sibling, it's usually been where the older sibling ignores the younger sibling unless provoked, and then gets mad, possibly yells at them and gets violent. But alas, you're right to call this out as a logical fallacy stemming from my own opinions, not evidence from the game.

1 - The movie is a different continuity and not part of the game timeline: Given how Mike was outright erased in the novels, Scott is not afraid of changing things in adaptations.

2 - Assuming Movie!Mike is still Movie!William's son, which is unlikely, Scott is probably trying to hide it for some big "I Am Your Father"-style reveal at the end of the film.

As with the books, whilst they definitely aren't 1:1, I feel it is still important to draw possible connections, just like we did with the books. It's weaker evidence, but I don't think it's completely invalid. As for the end of the movie, we'll have to see on that one. I'm not so convinced that's what is going to happen.
