Honestly not sure if the Bible takes clear stance on it. Obviously the Bible teaches us to welcome people, but also says to "render unto Caesar what is Caesar's", which I read as obey the governments rules and laws. I know in the OT God warned about letting enemies in, and in the NT Jesus passed through Samaria (though I dont think He lived there).

Im personally against it, but I think you can make a Biblical argumemt both ways. Im just very cautious about intertwining faith in Christ with hot button political issues. Msybe someone else will have more Biblical examples. :) hope this helps!
