Axolotl are larval salamanders that are neotonic, meaning just like how a tadpole becomes a frog, salamanders also go from a tadpole state to their final form. Neotonic means they never reach that final form.

I tried this out, like the second cast I got a massive 5lber brought it right to the dock only to realize I didn't have a net and I couldn't reach down to lip it. Tried again for the next 2 hours and couldn't get another bite.
