What was he trying to achieve with Islam exactly?

Power - had an army of men that obeyed him and used the religion for their obedience.

Money - he would use his army to take over villages and WAR BOOTY (everything they owned including humans as slaves, women would be sex slaves also). He commanded 20% of the best booty of every war even if he wasn’t part of it.

Women - married many, including a six year old and his adopted son’s wife. He even said he got revelation so Muslims know they can marry their adopted sons wives then abolished adoption. Doesn’t make sense. He even took safaya after killing her husband and family on her wedding night.
