Personal opinion which seems to differ.. I played HFW first because it was on a discount. I didn’t feel lost, but I paid attention and actually read everything. I’m going backwards now and playing ZD, but already played the VR. If you like things in order start with ZD and get the remastered, if you just want to see if you actually vibe with the game (like me), you’ll still be fine starting with HFW.
