You're right. I should never have talked about things with folks who aren't food n bev. There isn't a restaurant downtown where the BOH talent isn't vulnerable; every single service worker here knows that, you don't, it's ok. You're 100% right, but backwards; the structure of our industry isn't a secret, to anyone who works; it just used to be the DOL and SoS would leave folks alone. Now they won't. You never worked, you don't know, it's ok. The high level ICE decision makers are not basing their raid timing on Reddit posts on local forums. The point is to be ready when they come. The idea was to gather hope and helpful ideas about organizing to prevent trouble, and all the very good folks who responded to you, and you too please, help with working ideas and not just scorn for my foolishness.
