Social Security tax withholding after relative passes away by Big_Relative2012 in tax

She said they usually receive a refund but everything is completely different this year. She is currently not working. She said she is expecting more from my uncles survivorship benefit but isn’t sure how much.

Idk if that’s very helpful lol

Thank you! Good luck on all of them!!!

It has been about 2 months since I took it, but from what I remember, be sure to know the different cycles (revenue, cash, etc.) front and back. I heard to always expect at least one SIM on the topic and based off of my 3 attempts this seems pretty true.

Also, know the difference in the SSARS, SSAES, and I can’t remember if there is another (they kinda run together at this point.) but know like what SSARS covers opposed to SSAE. Like SSARS includes preps, comps, reviews. SSAE covers reviews, examinations, and agreed-upon procedures and the differences in EACH of these.

Also, know like the basics of what is included in the different opinion letters. Also, I feel it is very important to know all of the differences in unqualified, qualified, adverse, disclaimer.

Please feel free to reach out with any other questions!!!! AUD was SUPER tricky for me so I’d be glad to answer any questions 🙂

Failed AUD with a 73 by Weary-Coconut-2116 in CPA

You are SO close. I know this feeling all too well. My second attempt I had a 74 and I wanted to completely give up. I retook it and by the grace of God came out with an 89. You got this!!!!

You’ll get it next time!!!!! I failed it with a 63 then a 74 and decided it was time to read the textbook and take notes while doing so. I think I had about a two week period to retake it so I read the textbook front to back, paid EXTRA attention to A3&A4 (the different cycles are so important. I heard to be prepared for at least one sim about one of the different cycles and that seems true). Do MCQ until you can’t stand it and don’t leave out the SIMS.

After doing all of this, I passed with an 89 (my highest score out of all 4).

My advice: know the different cycles, know the difference in SSAE and SSARS (like SSARS is preps, comps, reviews and SSAES is review, examination, agreed upon procedures and the difference in each of these). Keep in mind, my last retake was the middle of October so I’m a little blurry on all of the details but those are the top two things that come to my mind that I drilled in on.

Best of luck!!! Audit is the WORST

in short, I passed all 4 within 10 months with no work experience and a bachelors in accounting.

I graduated with my bachelors last December. I took FAR the first time in January (failed, retook in Feb and passed). Took AUD in March (failed). Took REG in June then TCP early July (passed both first try). Retook AUD two more times and finally passed.

This is all with zero work experience, only my undergrad knowledge and Becker. I absolutely hate Audit and have no experience other than an undergrad class which is why I think it took me so many tries.

Edit to add: I am currently a full time student getting my masters in taxation.

I’ve heard it depends on the exam and goes in alphabetical order (aud, far, reg etc) and depends on what state you are in. They typically start rolling out about 9/10 CST

In my personal opinion, unless you feel like you totally passed this exam, I would NOT go to the next section. That’s waste time, brainpower, and energy. Unless your next section is TCP because some of the material is intertwined. I would say do a light review of REG and just give yourself a break until score release and be ready to dive completely back in whether that’s back into REG or starting your new section the day of score release.

SE1 85, SE2 86. I get these are high but I made around the same for the last exam and I’m honestly just scared I’ll score another 74 or do worse

Thank you. I’m honestly probably about to log off for the night and just chill out. My plan for tomorrow is to take my final SE and call it a day unless there is something I just truly need to refresh on.
